I very rearley get them any more by doing a minor change via the ps4 settings.

Press the ps button on controler
Go to settings
Set up connection
Manual set up

Now put everything as automatic apart from the DNS THE new DNS are as follows

Primary DNS 8.8.8.8

Secondary DNS 8.8.4.4

this will dramaticly change how many times you get a server loss. I played for around 12 hours solid yesterday with only 1 loss to server. Hope this helps. Fly safe commander

Interesting. Will pass this over to the QA team.

It is not if you are a software developer, even small changes still brings the redeployment of the infrastructures, tests to be run, etc...

Apologies for saying, but isn't this a very small list of things for a 5 hour patch? Is it possible there are... other things happening that don't necessarily need to be in patch notes...?

the updates must allways be on europe time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is not fair !!!!!!!!!!!!

It is where we are headquartered at.

It wouldn't make much sense for us to do a 12AM update in the UK with minimal staff on board. If in the event the update fails at some point, you and thousands of others would end up being out of playing the game for 1/3rd of the day/night/morning/evening if such were the case. :(

You mean the fix is to use google public dns instead of default dns. But then this would indicate a provider side issue, right?

5 hours? Is that normal? Why don´t they do this in nighttime :(

It's mid morning in Britain. On a Tuesday, the vast majority of people will be at work or school. So this will impact minimal people in Britain. Given Fdev are located there, and don't work grave yard shift. This makes the most sense.

- Overworked Air Traffic Controllers will no longer greet pilots as they are leaving.

Made me think of the days when I worked as a Customer Service Rep and was told to "mention the survey" at the end of every call. I fully empathise with the ATCs :D

You need a zero downtime deployment.. and not some "ohh i have no clue how to deploy a new system"-guys....
it's crazy what your are doing all the time...

BREEEEETT I wanted to get in a couple of cheeky hours today to make progress on my Federal Rank, but the servers are down for 5 hours?! Nuuuuuu I blame you. Actually wait no, I blame Braben. He has an excellent name to scream to the heavens. :D

Try it. BRABEEEEEEEEEEEEN *shakes fist*

Just as good as Vonderhaar :D

5 hours!!!

My life has come to an end. No EDH for five hours!! What am I going to do? Surely I can't be expected to go outside and speak to people face to face. My human rights have been abused. :D

Just go back to bed, like a normal person?
