That's the difference between client and server patches, patches that don't state a platform tend to be server patches and take out everything. The xbox patch was ... for xboxes - as it stated.

just out of interest, what does the 'server status' in the launcher actually measure. Mine says that that server status is OK, but they are offline.

Not being a Support Ghost, er what is that about ? Are you hinting that All Engineers are Dead and only some users got to have soupedup weapons etc ?

Greetings commanders, we've an update on the way this morning at 10AM UK / 5AM East US.

We expect the servers to be down for about five hours while we perform this update. Below are the patch notes for this update.



Stability Fixes

• Fixed a crash involving Fighters.
• Fixed a crash that could occur when using the vanity camera shortcut while viewing the System/Surface Map.

General Fixes & Tweaks

• Overworked Air Traffic Controllers will no longer greet pilots as they are leaving.

Missions

• We no longer award micro resources that are not used for anything as mission rewards.
• Various mission tweaks and fixes.

I was very worried about the traffic controllers...constantly telling me welcome to the station as I was leaving

I very rearley get them any more by doing a minor change via the ps4 settings.

Press the ps button on controler
Go to settings
Set up connection
Manual set up

Now put everything as automatic apart from the DNS THE new DNS are as follows

Primary DNS 8.8.8.8

Secondary DNS 8.8.4.4

this will dramaticly change how many times you get a server loss. I played for around 12 hours solid yesterday with only 1 loss to server. Hope this helps. Fly safe commander

If that helps, you need to complain to your ISP that their DNS infrastructure is horribly broken.

No, some engineer rewards werent used by engineers, whereas some we needed weren't given. That is now fixed.

Its probably not not the size of the bug list that creates the time, but the logistics behind applying the update. I guess servers have to be taken offline, fix applied, tested and then servers brought back online.

BTW, fives hours might mean more wrecks.
