EDEngineers is still listing a few others as "not used in any blueprints" like chemical storage units, compact composites and filament composites. Not that I have any material of this sort but I'm curious as to what might come, probably in the near future... ?

Hi there,

There may be other micro-resources not used in synthesis/blueprints, but this is the complete list of those that it was possible for the mission system to give.

I have nothing to announce as far as whether or not they will be used in the future.

You couldn't find the time in your VERY SHORT patch list to resample the ear bleeding volume on the iCourier? Seems to be an easy fix if you would care to fix it...

...and the killer skimmers dropping from the skies? Not fixed? I just lost 14M to that one yesterday... Well known bug!

Who's in charge of setting patch lists and priorities anyway?

Greetings commanders, we've an update on the way this morning at 10AM UK / 5AM East US.

We expect the servers to be down for about five hours while we perform this update. Below are the patch notes for this update.



Stability Fixes
  • Fixed a crash involving Fighters.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when using the vanity camera shortcut while viewing the System/Surface Map.

General Fixes & Tweaks
  • Overworked Air Traffic Controllers will no longer greet pilots as they are leaving.

Missions
  • We no longer award micro resources that are not used for anything as mission rewards.
  • Various mission tweaks and fixes.


Console Notes
  • Xbox, PlayStation 4: Fix for the welcome mission not appearing for new commanders.
  • PlayStation 4: Fix for a bug where the game ran at an accelerated speed after resuming from Rest Mode.
  • PlayStation 4: General client progression-flow fixes for new commanders.

still waiting for modified modules export fix...
 
Is it just me, or have the graphics somewhat improved ?

Not just you. The effect is a bit different for me because I run low settings on a laptop (so far below minimum specs it's untrue). For me then it's all about smoothness in framerates and I took a real hit at 2.3 .. much improved by this patch. Just been to Shinrata and bought my first FdL hull to celebrate.
 
Most of the rest is along the lines of "Mysterious things added"...

This is bloody ridiculous! I'm using mobile data to access the internet (don't ask!) and have an allocation of 8GB per month. I can't keep asking a friend who lives miles and miles away to download these updates to a portable hard drive only for FD to release a new one only weeks after the last one with trivial changes.

Why can't I just keep using the old version? The only problem I was encountering was being welcomed to a station as I left. That REALLY didn't bother me!

Because your old version wouldn't be compatible with the actual server version?

Apart from that, afaik it were only 50mb update.
