Cannot connect

Is the server offline? I can'tconnect because the program says: "not connected to internet, please check your connection and try again" After having checked this, it seems I'm online and connected to the internet. I can even test my connection, which is fine. What's the problem? What do I need to do to play?
 
I get also "not connected to Internet" when clicking on "Start". All other internet-based functions on my PS4 worked - including the frontier store (clicking on "buy game extras") and the PS4-browser.


I resetted router and PS4 - same result.


I tried the procedure described in "I'm experiencing connection errors during gameplay on PlayStation®4" on the support page of frontier. Step 1: check. Step 2: check. Step 3: the following message appeared:

The requested URL /mtu-test.php was not found on this server.


Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.


Apache/2 Server at www.letmecheck.it Port 80

What is going on?

Same problem here. I came to post the same question.

Glad it's not just me and it's a server issue rather than something at my end.
 
Same here we just get the standard message blaming our internet connection. But everything else is connecting to the internet just fine eg can go onto PS Store from our PS4.

I am afflicted as well. Reset my router and ps4 multiple times. Reconfigured my ps4 network settings again. No joy. Can see my Friends Playing And Even Voice Comms With Them. But red text Says Not Connected to Internet. Sorry For random Capitalization. Posting From Mobile And Beta
 
I was having the same issue (on xbox)

Apparently there was a small update, about 200mb. It was giving me the same error message over and over and I could not log in. I did a hard reboot of my console (unplugging the power and making sure no power was left in the device) and tried to start Elite Dangerous, and that is when the update started. I'm not sure it'l work now as I have not tried since the update started downloading, but, that is my best guess. Give it a try, if that does not work submit a bug report.
 
I downloaded the update yesterday and the ps4 system update yesterday, and could play fine last night and now this morning it is saying I have no internet connection just like the image above.
 
Looks like it's their end. I'm in LA and can't connect either. Rebooting the PS4 did not fix the issue (nor did I think it would).

Hope I don't have any missions about to expire :/

I just went in to the PS4 Network settings and told it to setup a new connection and now I can play.

I noticed this morning that I only had a "Phone" symbol next to my profile on the PS4 but after setting up a new connection it turned to the "Blue Dot" and now the game works.
 
Seems there's been a ps4 software update today once I put that on I've got back on same thing I had check your Internet
 
Just to throw some counter data into the mix, I updated mine yesterday (both Elite and PS4 OS) and all seems fine. I was playing last night. (UK)
 
Mine updated last night and then I was able to play last night, but this morning I couldn't, I did what I posted before about the internet connection and now I am playing again.
 
Either the issue is resolved on Frontiers end or what I just did solved it for me.

I just went in to the PS4 Network settings and told it to setup a new connection and now I can play.

I noticed this morning that I only had a "Phone" symbol next to my profile on the PS4 but after setting up a new connection it turned to the "Blue Dot" and now the game works.

This just worked for me too. Awesome

Glad you have a solution. Might be worth raising as a PS4 bug to make sure FD know, they could at least document this work around as it sounds like it may happen again...
