I had this twice last week and yes, very frustrating and I gave up playing in the end. However I notice by the 'server name' it is not every server. I have played over 2250 hours and probably had this problem for 2 of those hours. Is the problem with just one sever overloaded?
Next time I shall look at the server numver and report it. That may help FD find sort the problem.

Have you tried fixing your DNS?

Ok, I know that you can't do much about the actual DNS, but for a test, it might be interesting to check if you continue getting the server problems when you set your DNS fixed to Google (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). For long-term, though, I'd recommend you at least think about whether you like Google to be able to monitor basically every internet access you do (ok, otherwise, it's your ISP who can monitor that - almost the same difference).

Sooo, my launcher still says "2.3.10" and my mission rewards last night were lots of HN Shock Mounts as well as flawed focus crystals. Commodities and materials needed for nothing. When is the rollout for this patch? Don't tell it was already, because it wasn't.

Hi there,

Flawed Focus Crystals : Used in 8 recipes. 4 at Grade 2 and 4 at Grade 3.

HN Shock Mounts are not micro resources so are unaffected.

Basic Conductors
Crystal Shards
Heat Resistant Ceramics
Unidentified Scan Archives
Tempered Alloys

Only took 45mins and could watch end of tour de France.
Please add material storage. The 1000 limit is terrible, I had to abandon materials to a limit of 11, and 30 for elements, data also always overfull.

Damn i was hoping this would fix the mission board error on PG and Open. (Solo works) :(
Still getting error that it can't get up to date mission list from server. Tried to change DNS settings, but no go [blah]
Guess i have to play in solo then. [where is it]

And when 2.4 hits and they give us new Engineers to mod anti-thargoid weapons and armors, guess what materials will be used... lol

I think they're doing a splendid job. Personally, I only had some minor issues with server connection after the patch, but everything worked after an hour or so. Life as such didn't end. Phew.

Unknown Fragments are required to get Engineer Professor Palin to deal with you (Still showing as a requirement after the 2.3.11 patch).
So best strike that one off the list!

Is there a list that is *larger* than this one, that is a list of materials that can be comprehensively removed from storage?

Why oh why do we still need to mine materials....why don't engineers have the correct materials for the services we they offer......it is most a annoying!!!!

Why do employees need to show up at office jobs when they can almost all remote in and never have to commute? Reasons.


Honestly though, what would your alternative entail? just paying in credits? Credits are worthless in the game and offer little barrier to acquiring things. This is the next best mechanic they can do to engage the player and create a barrier to entry. I'd like to see some more believable gopher requirements than basic minerals ...but I still think they should require some form of recipe to give you these upgrades.
