Horizons Station External Advertising Displays....Interactive?

I would like to know if there is anything in the works, or if there is any merit and/or possibility for players to be able to post messages onto the stations external advertising displays...Any thoughts from Fdev on this would be appreciated...

I am asking because of a few reasons,
ability to leave static in-game messages on these boards for perhaps BH requests, player faction advertising, messages to friends that are rarely on-line at the same times..
Messages to travelers that may be either just passing through or messing with PF system BGS in PG or Solo............
.
Seeing as we can't connect to people with the current in-game messaging....this would be a helpful possibility to contact or simply leave a message...
really, so many uses..
I realize there could be issues...specially with the childish and obnoxious types being rude...etc...so filtering or actual live Fdev interaction for the input/creation of messages..
I would have no issues with this having a in-game cost....just like advertising on a big screen at sports games, road-side displays, dirigibles, magazine/newspaper ads...etc.

I would love to be able to pay(in-game credits) for this type of in-game messages....hourly\daily\weekly..etc rates...possibly even linked to inf or rep increases or costs....
There are really a lot of cool options/possibilities with this....
And I can imagine that it doesn't have to be limited to just a single station, as in extra costs for putting an add on multiple stations...or even like in real life where you can collect money from advertisers for putting an ad on your van/truck/car/bus..etc..
Maybe even possible messages announced by flight controllers....

Always thought that there should be a station bulletin board (wasn't that what it used to be called?), but I shudder to think of all the rude messages that would get posted.

I think you are correct..

And , yes on the rude..which is why I added the other things I did..If it requires filters that are a pain to work with, or if it would be something that requires interacting with Fdev.. or whatever Fdev can come up with to put some decent control on it....which also would then kind of depend on how far they went with the idea....like if there were an in-game price to these with rates for how many letters/words, for length of time posted, for how many stations and for how far a reach to other systems to post and higher rates the further you post them away from original stations system....
effectively putting portions out of reach to the average player...
If it were to cost me 10 mil a week for a message in 1 system at 1 station, or 100mil....I have no problem paying 100mil a day for 1 message on one station, going outside my system could double that price...and if what I pay contributed to local systems\stations controlling faction inf in a very small way...
For anyone wondering why, why and more why?

A very long time ago I played a game called Galactic Empire...text based but a space explorer/fighting/economy controlled..etc game..it was a lot of fun with a few minor similarities to Elite...the game was very dependent on player interaction..nice thing is it ran on BBS's, soo it was very important to the game and it was a function of BBS's to be able to communicate with everyone...we can't do that here.
and I don't know about the rest of the cmdr's, but I want to be able to send or at least display somehow messages that could be seen by any and everyone...
How do I ask players something that are in a PG or in solo questions..? if they are affecting the bgs for me and ruining my part of the game because 100 cmdrs are in a pg flipping systems? there is no way to address this..not that asking them questions would help but its at least a start.
With out a way to relay messages to people we cannot see, to me is a huge feature missing that can easily ruin the game for many players.

If this were applied to real life.....lets say we have a culture of people that are all now living beneath the surface..and the rest of the world knows they are there, but we can't see them and because the ruler of the universe(insert diety of choice here) has decided to allow them to interact via a special dimension.....dunno about you, but my first choice would be to blow them all up, but we can't see them or touch them.

you should be able to put rude signs outside anarchy ports
