Federal Navy Supply Mission - Hand in

So I finally found a Federal Navy mission to transfer 44t of Consumer Technology to a station one jump away from my location. Easy peasy. Just as I was about to dock I got a mission update asking me to divert to another planetary base in the next system. Okay, fine. Done.

I land and no matter where I look I cannot see how to hand in and complete this mission. No option in the Mission Board. No option to sell the items on the Commodities Market. I'm 100% at the right place. Am I doing something wrong???

Check your system map. It should show where to hand the mission in. If it's not there, check the gal map and see if it's still at its original location. If it is, go back and hand it in there.

If you're on a mission and don't want to be diverted, don't open the mission update message. That way, you can just go to the original destination.

Just checked that. Opened the Galaxy map, im in the correct system. Open the system map from the Galaxy map. I'm on the right planet and right base.

Also make sure you've enough cargo/materials/data space for any additional mission rewards...
This can stop any mission from being handed in.

Yup. I'm looking at the 44t in my ship cargo right now.

I can hold 52t. I am holding 44t. Which is 8t spare. Additional rewards are 4t of something or other. No issues there. Still not working.

Usually when a mission doesn't appear on the mission-board, so you can hand it in, it's because you can't accept part of the mission reward.

If, for example, the mission offered engineering mat's or data and your storage is full, you won't be able to hand-in the mission until you've made space for the rewards.

Look at the mission description in your left HUD and it'll tell you if this is the case.

Can you provide a screenshot of the mission screen (like in Stealthie's pic) and any update messages?

Also, did you actually accept the updated mission? Note you'll receive the message that the location has changed, but i'm 99% sure location changes are optional, and for them to take effect you need to select the tick in the message window.

I'll have to screenshot later tonight when I'm home. And I'm certain I selected the tick to accept as the intended location in the contract so showing where I'm currently docked at. Am rather tempted to go back to the station where the mission originally sent me before it got diverted.

It couldn't hurt to try. At this point I'd definitely head back to the original destination just in case.

Lucky, you got an Easy mission my first mission was to pirate a ship over and over again for 16 tons of food, went to turn in the mission and crashed trying to dock, wasn't able to accept another one for a week or so sucks you can't turn yours in

Is Data or Materials included in the mission rewards? Perhaps you've too much Cracked Industrial Firmware or too much Polonium and need to make space to receive these rewards to be able to hand in your mission?

I've plenty of space for cargo, data, materials etc. I've checked and am nowhere near maxing out my storage for them.
