Hello CMDR's

I have recently tried the DBX for exploration and have decided that I prefer my AspX. So my question is, what other rolls the DBX is suited for? I like the DBX but found I like long distance exploration in the AspX.

Fit some passenger cabins it makes a great passenger mission runner (especially if you get an illegal passenger just drop into silent running and sneak into the station), it's also handy for engineering weapons as it fits up to class 3 and the class 5 FSD is used by a lot of ships, because of it's range I use it to collect data mined wake exceptions from distribution centres.

The DBX is basically Lakons version of the Cobra III after the buff. You can do anything you want in it. Just stop thinking it's just an exploration ship.

What range were you getting from the AspX? My DBX is getting 59LY which can be improved upon.

i have two DBEs - one for exploration, and one for material/data collection in the bubble. it is better to land than the AspE, and it gets a better jumprange seriously armed.

I am hoping for approx. 50ly, I prefer the AspX due to the view from the drivers seat as well as the extra internals.

I am currently using an AspS to do my material\data collection in the bubble (maybe I should consider the DBX for that instead). I purchased the DBX as an impulse buy after hearing about the buff it got but do not find it as "comfortable" to explore in as the AspX.

I was going to use my DBE exclusively as an explorer ship. 59ly range is v good but then I realised I don't like it to explore in. Much prefer the Asp E for the same reasons cited.
Use my DBE as a smuggler/illegal passenger runner/materials collector/wake scanner analyser.
