SDC sports some of the best FA Off pilots's in the game. Harry doesn't use it 100% of the time, but his use of it in the duel with Nightshady in very limited amounts was well executed. Check out some videos by Oddisee/Pipko/Sundae/Rinzler and you'll be treated to the best 100% FA Off flying and combat this game is capable of producing.
I know that Newton's Gambit has some great pilots, but the difference is that SDC (and many other individuals in top PvP groups) can do the same thing while taking concentrated wing fire.

That's not true, nor fair. The use of Engineering was incredibly restricted, and thoroughly regulated during those League fights. I'm all for giving it to the cheaters but, you're wrong on this one.
Let's hope it wasn't by the same people who organised the Salome defence.
That and with the restriction of one engineer mod per ship, G1 max engineering, the exploit wouldn't even work anyway. Say what you will about exploits, but the PvP league did not have it's outcome affected by it.
I blame jealousy for the comments towards anything regarding the PvP league, it was very regulated and featured the best players in Elite.

Funny SRV combat story, though a bit off topic. I was at Dav's Hope farming Niobium the other day. I'd dismissed my ship and was doing laps around the installation looking for meteorites when a CMDR in a ship started chasing me around and firing on me. He was doing a great job staying directly above me, and every time I stopped to try to get a bead on who was shooting at me my shields would drop and I'd start taking damage. So, I basically just scurried around like a little eight wheeled cockroach trying to make myself harder to hit with no place to hide from the dirty griefer...until I noticed a Cobra parked near the installation and I thought to myself "Thank you God!" and made a beeline for it. I shimmied under this anonymous CMDR's ship like it was made just for me and proceeded to wait out the attacker's barrage, fully expecting my new "cover" to suddenly take off in a panic and leave me stranded. But no, the owner of the Cobra was off checking emails or something and didn't notice the pounding his ship was taking.
Due to quick thinking on my part and slow wittedness on the part of the AKAIK CMDR I'm happy to report that I survived the unwarranted attack. Sorry about your Cobra, whoever you were...

That fight was full of desync rams, Every time after that fight was easy since I was the instance host.
