How Far Would You Go For an Earth, Water and Ammonia Worlds for First Discoveries?

All or nothing, When I jump into a system I scan the lot or pass through after skimming I do not scan the Star unless I'm stopping, once I'm done scanning I visit the most interesting rock for a drive and a cup of tea.

ok lets say an un-tagged AW (payout is now 320k credits)
how far will I fly for that?

I would divide the distance by 2 so I'd go 160k lys for an AW to tag.


Its just a formula I've been playing around with.

However I will go any distance to tag an ELW. funny thing is I wont do it for a WW. even though a TC WW can pay better than an ELW'

Ima be honest.. If its not in the immediate system that i jumped in, im not going out the way to the neighboring star. On my current trip back from a 7kly passenger mission, i think i found 3 ELW, and several WW. One honk with my ADS and then look at the System map, if the planet seems to have clouds, orbiting my current star, ill go there (and in the habital zone) . But if it orbiting another star(more than 20000kls), ill pass. Im just trying to get back home.

My first trip beyond the bubble and towards Colonia at the moment. Currently 13000 light years back to Asellus Primus, and haven't seen a single EL. They do get their own specific designation after a surface scan, yeah?

Just got back from my week long expedition. I can literally say that it does pay off. I left with around 70 mil credits, the mission was 7mil when i got back, cashed in on my trip, and all of the pages, i ended up with 124 mil credits. The exploring is a long grind, but it pays well. Also if exploration is your cup of tea then you most likely dont even look at your credit balance at this point.
I was going to cash in on my data at another location around sol to rank up in the federation, but my missions started at quince so i decided to cash in there and not bother with griefers or being intertidcted by npcs. Definitely gonna go out again, later. But for now, ill be social in the bubble.

ELW, no matter how far I would check them out.

Hopefully first discovered will get first settlement rights or exclusive mining.

Think i have 3 about 15 jumps from the bubble.

That trip that I made was 11 days of flying (was actually a bit longer but I was away from home for work and couldn't play). Also 100m went to my Elite Crew member, and I had a LYR bonus.
