i have just noticed

that we can now hand in missions, that give you data as a reward when you have no room for data. without dumping data!
can we now collect and hand in missions that give cargo as reward with no cargo hold? can some one check it out for me!
I would check out myself but busy doing a lot of other types of mission and need the cargo holds I have got.

Unless that happened overnight, it doesn't work. At least not consistently. I turned in a dozen or so last night that required me to dump data before I could even get the mission to show up on the board so I could turn it in.

I have handed in about 10 at different stations and not needed to dump any data. yeah yesterday I had to dump data as well. I have 5 more to drop, will see if they are the same.

It's still not working for passenger missions :/

Hmm.. Going to have to check that here in a few. Trying to finish off some RL stuff so I can sit down with minimal interruptions for a bit. LOL

I was turning in boom missions and scan missions last night. I'll try to pick up some of the same things and see if they're still misbehaving.

You can turn in missions without having the cargo space on your ship, you just can't accept them without the space. Not sure about data, but I doubt it's any different.

was particularly interested in assassination missions that give cargo as reward ;)

That is a peculiarity of assassination missions.

You cannot accept them if they have cargo as a reward and you have no cargo racks, but if you then swap ships to use one that has no cargo racks, you can complete the mission and claim the reward, although obviously you do not get the commodities as part of the reward.

No idea about data...

back to having to dump the data again. it turns out it was a bug caused by avast firewall blocking upnp. strange because it was allowed. now using another firewall and things are back to normal. shame I did like that I didn't have to dump any data.
