That's the link I posted above - damn those translations eh! Very long and precise question that was misunderstood don'tcha think

I think nu-Orlando is nice, we should be kind to him. 3.0 is sooo close after all - if he's new to SC then it's only fair he has hope

Well, everybody is entitled to their own opinions. As for the hope - somebody has to, none of four or five free-fly events I have taken part in made me less sceptical.

CIG's comment regarding 5-10 systems at launch.

Doesn't really say much but there you go..

Hmm...

You're right there - it doesn't say much :)

So - will Star Citizen release with 100 star systems? There are no changes to the planned amount of star systems, so is the $6m stretch goal still going to be honored or not?

And does "suitable for a larger audience" mean release? - If it does, why the [kittens] didn't he say that? - Or did he mean that the whales just have to get bigger? :D

Glad you got it ;)

They clearly enjoy using this ambiguity so they can say one thing but then deny it amid claims of a loss in translation :)

I'm sure you're right there - I spent my working life dealing with this level of and can spot it a mile off.

It's a shame that the game with the "most open development in the history of gaming" has to stoop to these levels.

jesus stop it with the aggression, can you not have a discussion without getting prissy?

what the heck are you on about "after I didn't have to do it?"

It was WAY harder to make money at the start, I was in a sidey for 25 hrs, eagle for similar time. I ENJOYED every single upgrade that I saved up for.

the fact that you think the game now is more plausible with a better economy, where you can go from a sidewinder to fully upgraded cobra in 5 mins just by stealing 2 kills from security ships blows my mind.

without obviously using exploits and loopholes the game is absolutely NOT harder to make money now that it was at launch....

but you are free to your opinion.... but please point me to such risk free legal money making endeavours in my meat suit and I will be all over it

the point is I am just pointing out where *I* think SC has potential to be a more indepth game than ED and where having a cash shop can help because its in CIGs interest to keep the economy sensible..

Projecting your own feelings I see. Might want to take your own advice as you are the only one getting aggressive. Going down the ad hominem just shows you don't have an argument. And I went from a Sidwinder to a cobra in 4 hours, type 6 after another 4 hours. It was never hard to make credits even when ED launched. None of that was using what you seem to think of as exploits. You could always steal kills from Security ships, was that way from the start, it is just that now you can actually make a living doing bounty hunting. Never said it was harder with out "exploits" oh and they are not exploits if FD put them into the game, they are just mechanics that FD didn't think through. LOL it is all legal, none of it is exploits, FD put those mechanics into the game. They want you to be able to stack missions, or they would turn it off. Sorry but none of it is exploiting, they are actual mechanics that FD have put into the game, they just didn't think about how much people could do them. Even the original rare exports, that was not an exploit.

You have yet to make any connection to SC having more depth, then ED, the fact that CIG can't even get basic mechanics correct shows otherwise. Yes we get the fact that you want a P2W system, you don't have to keep saying it over and over again. You don't need a P2W system in order to keep economy sensible, what ever that means, as it is just your opinion on what that means. Sure CIG selling in game credits means they have vested interest in making sure people have a hard time making credits in game (remember all those ships they sold for cash? ya lets make it super hard for anyone to earn those in game). So they have to resort to purchasing ships and credits from CIG. Yep nothing can go wrong with a money greedy company like CIG.

10 Tricks to make Star Citizen good - You will be AMAZED at number 7!!!!

*edit*
Sorry - it's not a link :( there are no tricks to make SC good at the moment.

Oh, come on, it isn't all bad. I did have a quite enjoyable stretch of 10 second QD flight once when nothing tried to explode or my character wasn't phasing through the hull and it all was pretty pleasant. Even the following short excursion to deserted Port Kareah wasn't half bad.

It could be a fantastic game or a fantastic failure. Its all about the netcode as far as I can see.

I agree but how come you don't find anything suspicious when after all those years of the development when it comes to the netcode and overall networking CIG is basically in the same "shoes"as it was at the beginning?I remember when I first asked about problematic Crytek networking back in 2014 some ppl. was ensuring me that just in few month of time we will see HUGE improvements...well we are now in mid 2017 and all I can see is that CIG is unable to even reach netcode quality some of the generic games made in CE but contrary of that CR still talking about server-meshing-tales and 1000 of ppl. in same instances???
