How do I get rid of ship interface blurry text? Still waiting on support regarding my beta / trademarked name too.

The ship interface is next to unusable to me because of the amount of blur the text has. My graphical settings are on ultra > Custom with everything set to maximum except blur is disabled.

I'm running at 1920x1080 on 1ms LG monitor in windowed borderless.

I have a higher color-range than most other men and can distinguish between the most subtle changes in color - with 16 bit color, for example, subtracting 1 from 255 from any of the colors and lining both colors next to each other and they appear different to me whereas most men have a color deficiency and can't detect larger differences. The text appears offset a few pixels up / right for the text in the right UI - when looking at it, it tricks my eyes into going in and out of focus because it tries focusing on the text for it to become clear because the very subtle color offset from the background color causes it to phase in and out. The UI is essentially useless to me.

Is there a way to disable this blur effect? If not, please add it in.

Note: I did disable gui effects but there is also a bright line on the left edge of each character which further confuses my eyes - it isn't even a proper method of stepping the text as it isn't along the correct edges for inset or outset...

Additionally, I am still waiting on a year + old support topic and multiple e-mails regarding my original pilot name which is, under trademark law, mine as it relates to my business / brand / identity. Please respond.

Don't think anyone's going to be able to help this one - best let it sink off the bottom of the forum while he looks for the 'contact support' link...

Regarding the color/blurryness of the cockpit interface, I honnestly have no idea what you are talking about.
But then again, if your vision is special, the majority may not be able to see it.

If you already tried fiddling with every graphical option, and that did nothing for you, you could try changing the luminosity of the interface. This is done in the right hand cockpit panel, "function" tab.
That could lower the problem, maybe.

You could also try to change the cockpit interface color, by modifying the config files. You may find a color that hurts your eyes less.

Regarding the trademark commander name, is that even a thing ?

blur and bloom disabled, visual effects disabled? visual effects are causing the most eye-damage to me.. (playing on a 4k-TV, 60 Hz).

Turn HUD brightness down (mine is almost minimum) and try upping the supersampling a bit if your graphics card can handle it.

There was an update I think 2.1 or just before that cause all text, menu screen to be burred. I had to reduce my super sampling down to fix it.

The ship name at the top right has different font effects to the warnings and clock just next to it. The FSD charging message uses a whole different font if memory serves. I too find it a bit jarring.

And I hate the banding you get in 16-bit colour.

However I don't assert legal ownership of my CMDR name so I'm not quite as super awesome as OP.

On what basis do you claim legal ownership of your 'original pilot name' under 'trademark law'? (incorrectly spelled, I may add, the correct term is trade mark with a space). Presumably you have the registration certificate from the UKIPO? And even so, Google is a trade mark, that doesn't stop me from making a CMDR Google if I so wished.

In any event, the Trade Marks Act 1994 states that "a person infringes a registered trade mark if he uses in the course of trade a sign which is identical with the trade mark in relation to goods or services which are identical with those for which it is registered"

Having a CMDR Acecool does not constitute using the trade mark in the course of trade and therefore, I'm afraid that you have no legal redress available to you.

On this occasion, my advice to you will be free of charge but any subsequent correspondence on the matter will be charged at the Law Society Grade B rate of £192.00 per hour.

Actually there are 3 different spellings : trademark, trade mark, or trade-mark

Do I get this right, you want a ™ appearing next to your commander name? A quick Google search tells me acecool is a coolant. I can only wonder at the purpose of this, but meh. Also, if this is aiming to be advertisement, I would be surprised if this is even allowed by the FD EULA.

Pretty sure his CMDR name is already taken by another CMDR and he wants FDEV to give him that name. Well, after reading OP I gave him a lot of names, Acecool was not among them ;)

OMG this would be even worse lol. Is OP Aware that Trademark law applies only IRL? If I want to Name my CMDR Coca Cola, I can. Just as Harry Potter can be named like that and even Joanne K. Rowling wouldn't be able to do anything against it. As by the EULA:
