You know who I've forgotten? The Engineers! Get casting people! :) I was considering Kate Beckinsale for Arissa Lavigny-Duval but she seemed a bit young for the part.

Benicio Del Toro? Excellent choice. He was the first choice for Khan in Star Trek Into Darkness. Oh well. I accept everyone going to differ about The Commander. I picked Jason Statham because I watched The Mechanic II last night on Netflix. :p

Yep, I made a thread about that a few months ago. With the success of Sci-Fi shows like The Expanse I see no reason why, with the right cast and story, ED couldn't be a decent movie, or 3. Elite is somewhat unique, a space video game/sim which has been around in one form or another for over 30 years now. Its fair to say its picked up a few loyal supporters in that time. I for one would love to see a movie or streamed show on Netflix.

I think Pranav Antal as the name suggest has Indian roots. So that should be an Indian, Bollywood actor.

You mean the protagonist? He should have more charisma. It could be Tom Hardy or DiCaprio (they're expensive a-list actors though).

Yes they should first do an animated series, because that's cheaper and less risky than a full movie.

I dont think it's so much about the right look a like as the right archetype for that charcter. But Ron Perlman for Archon Delaine is perfect!

I wasn't going for an exact match in likeness, not at first anyway, Felicia Winters in particular was the hardest for me to cast with that tanned skin and blonde hair. :)

We could flip the table over and throw gender matching out the window (which worked IMO for Starbuck on nBSG), what about a Pirate Queen instead of a Pirate Lord?

On topic Jason Statham would make a great commander he always has a do it my way dosent take crap from anyone type attitude which is how everyone plays

Edit: we should get Andy Serkis to play the noises that the thargoids makes
