More bookmarjs

Playback can we have more bookmarks surely that's a soft patch one line of code
It's getting silly now I've had to erase all my crashed alien sites and my waypoints to colonia it seems like we only have 120 now what's going on

But probably storage space. There's supposedly about a million owners of ED, and roughly 5k online on average, so the more people they have making bookmarks, the bigger the player files get. Not just a line of code.

Worst case scenario: a million players, at 120 bookmarks each. Not sure how much space a single bookmark eats up.


Why not just write down system names and locations, or put them into a file? You can always copy them back into the pathfinder.

You know they can store the book mark on our computer which could fix the problem.

I thought they were stored locally as there's an add on that will manage your bookmarks for you but it ain't that great it automatically adds 20 from a file you generate yourself and deletes them when you reach the end of the 20
However when I need a resource of some kind I like to look at map and see where nearest place is rather than type in from a list to see which is closest
I there not stored locally and frontier are storing them maybe they should add points of interest for everyone such as alien crash sites deep space/asteroid stations alien ruins etc all get added to main map and we can save our 120 for personal use
After all the engineers will be Same for everyone they could do it for tourist sites aswell toggle on/off each with its own colour and symbol
