Two Quality of Life Suggestions - Soo Simple!

Here they are:

1 - Put a button in the right side panel in the inventory frame that says, "Sell all cargo to Market"...this would make it easier than going into the market and selling each thing manually...think of it as an easy way to, well, sell all your goods with one button press...

2 - Give us a "Purge all Secondary Fuel Tanks" option in the right side panel in case we have full secondary fuel tanks and need to purfe them for whatever reason we see fit.

Sell all cargo has been flogged at the devs for years, now.
 
Point 1 is another useless grind harder and faster feature, IMHO.

Point 2 makes sense, but should allow reducing fuel overall (with a couple of warnings). Being able to reduce fuel load would make the life of explorers simpler, that got trapped in a system that they could just reach but cannot leave after fuel scooping, unless they waste hours staring at nothing (Asp with 32 ton fuel tank, maybe 2 t/h consumption, now try to get rid of 10 tonnes...). While this may appear to be far fetched, there are areas in the galaxy where the stars are thinly spread and far apart, so that this is a thing.
 
Only if you wanted to compress it, so that your one ton canister takes up less space, but still takes up the same amount of hold space ;)

Refineries do it for free. Though if it was going to use mats, one carbon should be ample.

Point 1 is valid. The commodities menu should have categories with nesting, including one for what you have in your cargo. It's just a matter of making the UI more tidy. And how many times do people get those stupid articulation motors they really, really don't want to forget ahile dropping to a res? When I claim missions selling the pointless garbage they stack in my Vulture is a pain and doesn't really add anything. If it makes grind trade easier I see no problem with that.

Point 2 - just make flushing fuel like flushing cargo/materials.


I have a button called 'Live life to the full'. I pressed it. It popped up a message saying I had a great time. That was nice.

What the hell are you on about? So did you live life to the full?
 
They should just sell these in the store. Make it a bobblehead or something. :D

it might be because its Monday morning but people are realling objecting to a sell all cargo button.....just when I thought this forum couldnt get any further up its own butt. Yeah its Monday morning.

Oh as for the 2nd, never needed to dump fuel so not sure about that one.

I'd like to add .. purge all fuel tanks, personally.

Falls totally under QoL but storing a ship full of hydrogen feels a bit wrong to me, I'd rather store on empty. Could settle for finding when you retrieve a ship from storage, fuel has been purged from tanks for you .. but if there's no refuel at your current station, you might need to buy a sidewinder and transfer your stored ship to a station with refuel + shipyard (or have a system like module buy back, so your original ship can be unstored because hasn't been fuel purged yet). Prefer the first option myself = be careful where you store ships = game.

I wouldn't mind having the items we have in cargo at least appearing at the top of the market list or have a filter to enable it. Most time wasted I think is scrolling through the list, then past your item, then back up, then down one or two .. ah got it..!

What would your reasons be for 2?

Sell all cargo sounds like a wonderful idea. Then we wait for the first person to sell the 25 modular terminals they were about to deliver to Marco :D

Or if not, then at least a filter so that we can show only the commodities, that we own

And then we shoud be able to set it aflame.

For no reason at all.... just the nice visuals.

But if you do it in stations, it should be punished of course.
 
Add filter so that we can show only the commodities we have.

Eject fuel from reserve tanks - in combat should be ignitable by any weapon fire / heat source ( heat sink, engine boost ) produce nice visual and explosive damage to any ship inside it's 'bubble'
( NOTE: ejecting while stationary and then boosting should damage your own ship! )
