I'm less than 500 lys from Beagle Point and winding my way back to it in preparation for another Commander's arrival and to celebrate the DWE Reunion date on Dec 1st. If you need help mining materials, send me a friend's request ingame (Felix Macedonica) and I can move back down Route 33 towards you for a rendezvous. We can trundle about in the SRVs prospecting!

Ok, so what are the exact coordinates of the WP24 meetup? Im at Mitterand Hollow now.

Had a meeting with 10-12 ships at -72,1 74,1 when we got attacked by some idiot NPC's. Logged off for now and will try later again :mad:

Some prawn in a fighter decided my 2 tons of whatever were a prize worth having and opened up on my A rated Corvette while I was on the ground. I was on Discord and asked if anyone could please remove this idiot from life as I couldn't be bothered taking off. There was a brief flurry and flash, finished off with a "I can't believe it!" from said idiot and everything was quiet again :)

After over 1.5 years of (casual) play including two major setbacks (literal setbacks, one to the bubble about 35kly in after my dismissed ship could not deploy thrusters anymore, one to Colonia about 45kly in after I flew into a netron stra trying to boost) I finally made it to Beagle Point. It has been an experience...

TOUCHDOWN!

After nearly 2 years since leaving Pallaeni, I have docked at Jacques Station in Colonia. Cmdr LuciusCantilius (Eisen) of the Rock Rats escorted me the final 300LY or so - many thanks!!

My ship was in desparate need of repairs after over 300,000LY and about 12,000 jumps of travel:
  • 40% Hull
  • 92% PP
  • 92% AFMU
  • 0% paint (well, that's what the stats say... it looked like about 50%!)

The Commander was in even more desperate need of a stiff drink!
