ok i finally got some arsenic got like 6 of the chem manipulators. ok to get datamindes wakes . i have heard two places famine and out break? i have visited both have not found a distribution center help

Anywhere.... Just sit outside a station and scan the wakes. I use an Eagle with a long range scanner, Zip and boost around.

Should not take more than 20 minutes to bag some, and high population stations have more traffic. I actually have an Eagle at Deciat just for that role.

Famine system - but you need to do an additional check on the system before flying there - check for any other factions in the system being in war or civil war state - if they are, the conflict zone spawns tend to over-write the distribution centre spawns, so as well as famine system state, all other factions need to be in a benign state such as none, boom, and so on.
This also applies to systems with outbreak - any concurrent wars mean the conflict zones seem to over-write or prevent the convoy beacons spawning.

"Distribution center" it is located in the orbits of some planets in "Famine" state systems. They will appear in the navigation panel when you get closer than 1000ls from them. Sometimes you just have to check each planete in turn.

I've never been able to find a distribution center either. I just end up sitting outside a busy station and do my scanning.

Distribution centres don't appear until you're within a few thousand LS and tend to be around gas giants, so in a famine system target a gas giant and fly towards it if nothing appears move on, you can pick up 20+ DWE's in a few hours easily once you locate the DC.

thanks for the tip, I'll see if check by gas giants help. I have flown around several planets in a famine system before but I still haven't had any luck finding them.

Rep for you. This worked perfectly, I hit a famine system and the second gas giant I checked had two distribution centers. Thanks
