Livestream - CQC with Lloyd Morgan-Moore (17/08/17 - 7PM BST)

Lol or the Van Maanen's Star one being taken away from the Mad Monks now that they've not owned the system for nearly a year..... ;-)

Apologies everyone, we're having to cancel tonight's stream due to some last-minute changes; Ed's had to head out of the office early this evening but he (and his marvelous beard) will return to the regular streaming schedule next week!

The 2.4 beta is being released and FD are choosing to stream CQC. Interesting.

The've said several times they won't be livestreaming this beta, because story-based update & they don't want to spoil anything.

Although a brief look around tells me many other streamers aren't so worried.

As per this thread https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/371037-Ed-Lewis-a-ubiquitous-man/page2 I think we know what his important business might be

Can't believe I haven't noticed this before.

N.B. I don't think it was the story based things they were taking issue with because lets face it they've worked hard to avoid putting any story based things into the beta in the first place.

I think it's mainly because besides the story bits being added later a lot of the content isn't that flash and action packed and they are going to do livestreams on both the new content and the story-based bits when the update releases to everyone on the live servers. In short instead of trying to do some bits during beta and some bits after release they'll do it all in one livestream after launch.
^ at least thats what I remember from the last livestream where Ed talked about it being a bit different this time around.
