You obviously haven't seen my comments about the SRV in the other thread :D

In all seriousness some of the paintjobs in the game are great and it's not even just the big ships and bling ones, two of my favourites are the Blue Sonoran and Blue Colorado for the sidey. I don't rate these as being amongst them though. Maybe I'll just be the Courier ;)

I'm hoping they are still in the shop when 2.4 goes public beta because I want to use that nifty new in-game preview to check what it actually looks like first. The smaller ships do tend to look better with the metallics than the large ones though and let's face it, you need to work to make a Courier look bad.

Just not my style, I'd expect some spinning rims with that paint, and a pair of those green illuminated plastic grille glasses for the pilot.

Started on a long passenger trip on Monday and painted the Asp X with the new gold before I left. Looks good in the screenshots* :)

*Which I'm not posting until I get back. Don't want anyone stealing my first discovereds ;)

In all honesty it's not to my taste but imo the impressive thing is what op points out. That could easily be a real metal model replica such is the detail and lighting. Technically it's cool, even if a bit bling
