Well, not exactly
Having returned to the game after a year, I thought I'd try and make a video featuring two crew members on the same ship. Turns out, of course, that the only way to fill that second seat is with a human player. So… would anyone be willing to be my "model"?
I'll need someone to alter their CMDR's appearance so they resemble the character I have I mind: basically a youngish hippy/surfer dude. I'm thinking blond floppy hair, a goatee, a brightly coloured space suit – you get the idea. I'll then need them to sit put (ideally with their mic off; I'll be adding dialogue later) while I record footage from various cameras, which I'm guessing may take around 10-15 minutes (I'm not sure if your avatar's head turns depending on where you're looking; if so, then I'll need them to be looking towards "me" for much of the time).
I'm aware this isn't going to be much fun for anyone who volunteers – unfortunately I don't think there's another way of doing it – but hopefully it won't take too long, and I can at least promise there'll be some decent scenery outside (I'm in one of the most stunning systems I've ever visited). I can also credit the CMDR (if they wish) when I post the finished video on YouTube etc.
I'm pretty flexible time-wise too, but I was thinking of getting it done either sometime tonight (UK time) or tomorrow.
