Mass Effect 4

Oh, and Asari look sameish. They managed to insert the worst comrade and it's Asari. With silly name.

And there is no Justicar. You, know, real women. The ones that don't make me feel awkward because they actually don't look like blue teenagers.

Not only that, all, I repeat ALL Asaris except Peepee has the same face mesh - even the doctor one on your ship. Its beyond lazy and plain immersion breaking. And said mesh is ugly. Damn, not many games makes me so angry as Andromeda...

I haven't played it since I got into a controller flinging fit with the utterly irritating space Sudoku puzzles they thought it was a good idea implementing to get into alien ruins...I swear I spent more time trying to find decryption codes than I did paying attention to the non existent story line.

I fired it up yesterday to restart it from scratch...deliberately ignoring my preset expectation from all previous M:E games...got immensely frustrated at the point and shoot totality of it yet again and went back to playing M:E3 determined to 'get it on' with Tali all over again.

Yeah, the Sudoku puzzles were completely unnecessary imo. Anyway if you are stuck here is guide with all puzzles and sites:

Well they just could not handle the heat, but I lost the will to play the game early into it.
Simply not good enough to keep me going.

After a short test on PS4 I decided it wasn't for me either. But I don't really blame the team even though it was a brand new studio, a troubled development with several key people leaving the company, and a completely new engine. I still blame EA.

The writing was very par for the genre or even sub par. Despite playing the game not too long ago i really couldn't tell you anything about any of the missions. I remember a quote from one of the producers before release where they said they had looked the missions in Witcher 3 and wanted to do the same with ME4...clear to me that all they did was look.

This wasn't an awful game but it was poor in several areas. Areas where this sort of game can't afford to be poor.

I blame EA also. For the reasons other have posted but also they are throwing their A team at that new destiny wannabe....Anthem or what ever it's called. It's clear that facsimile of other games is placed on higher priority than not killing off a much loved franchise of your own.

Don't know if this has been posted yet..

Game is officially dead. F you EA.

Shame I sorted of enjoyed the game, only done one play through tho and when you compare that to the numerous play throughs of the others, still need to replay 3 with the new ending.

It wasn't as good as one or two or even three, but the MP is still fun as it seems that is still being worked on so that's a plus at least. I do wonder if we will see another ME game.

I`m not surprised EA is dropping this game but wow - its like 6 months from the release! There are still some broken things in SP and look, now it never gonna be patched. I did not like the game but thats really unfair even for EA. As far as no more dlc - I would not buy it anyway. Now we stuck with pretty screenshot simulator. [haha]

If EA thinks that the few patches they released are enough to make up for wrecking one of my favourite scifi franchises then they are mistaken. But I understand that the bad writing and the poor dialogues can't be repaired anymore anyway. This game is toast.

They should not have spent a single dime or minute on multiplayer. That is not what the Mass Effect games are about.
We have more than enough multiplayer shooters for those who want that kind of stuff, but I know of no other scifi RPG shooter like Mass Effect that was able to fill the gap that the demise of the Star Wars franchise left behind.

I am very disappointed.
And the new Star Wars franchise is now also in the hands of greedy, incompetent EA.
O boy...

I wouldn't call them incompetent, they simply became a megacorpo which needs to feed its CEO and management board ;-)
And I still fondly remember the times when ECA logo was appearing on screen making you smile and thinking "this will be a good game". Times long since forgotten :p

Good riddance.

I hope this serves as a lesson to EA and some other similar publishers.

HAHAHAHHAHAHA yeah, right. The only lesson they would understand is money, and it seems that this project was troubled from the early days. If it will be a lesson, the only conclusions they will make is "rpgs are hard, expensive and finnicky, lets do fpses instead".

EA is indeed a mega Corp whos only goal is to make money, not to deliver fantastic gaming experiences. When EA said they were disappointed with over 5 millions units sold, it says something about the company. The sad thing isn't the mega corporation. The sad thing is that people actually support it.

And that would be awesome. I would be perfectly happy if EA sticked to FPSs and stopped ruining great studios and franchises from other game genres.

I still dont understand why the pushed such a established and well known franchise like Mass Effect to the less experienced "B" studio in Montreal, were there other priorities on the way or what? They had to be aware that they can milk it for a while but to do so they need to start with one decent title.
