Post your Jump Range

Not for an AspX. But people have gotten Anacondas to 72+ Ly by stripping everything from them, including the fuel tank. Not a very useful ship but for those who care about the 70+ club it matters, so fair enough. I'm happy with my 64 Ly exploration build that I'm currently running. I could have pushed to 65 Ly but that would have taken weeks and I wanted to go out.

I can actually carry an additional 6t of stuff, so can hit about 71lys with ADS and DSS, but true it is more for the fun, see how far it can be pushed. Exploration wise I am between about 66 to 70 dwpending on SLFs, SRVs etc..

What's the maximum for an AspX?

My AspX The Nomad is currently the highest with 60.1LY with an ADS fitted - I got it to 60.46 for a one off double boosted jump in a Buckyball race by removing the ADS.

With a more godlike FSD roll that includes a +3% fuel boost you can get to over 61LY, but I don't think 62LY is likely.

Transferring an Asp-X FSD to a similarly over engineered DBX gives another 5LY or so.

I use the range for Buckyball racing / min-maxing fun, the 60.46 let me get from Jackson's Lighthouse to Gamma Sculptoris (240.99LY) and back in two jumps, which I couldn't pull off in the race (unlike the winning DBXs) so I was keen to achieve after seeing how they did it. For normal exploration you obviously want a full set of sensors and possibly an SRV at least.

My ASP is ready to go. After 300 total rolls of fsd g5 i can't see the RNG again for some weeks. (I think others may have more luck with the RNG than me :) )

I was back in the bubble for a bit because a friend just got his Corvette, so we did the bounty hunting CG. I decided to kit out a DBX just to see what it was like. I rolled a few grade fives for the FSD, and came up with a pretty decent roll. I hated the DBX, so I put the FSD on the Buckeye...

Just realised I had the Imperial Cutter record all along:

Ship: Imperial Cutter
CMDR Name: Alexbrentnall
Jump Range (Max): 35.41
jpgIBH1.jpg

Optional
Ship Name: Emissary of Duval
Jump Range (Full Tank): 34.19
1000 ly trip jumps (approx): 32
Loadout link: https://coriolis.edcd.io/outfit/imp...KgAAAA==.EweloBhA2AWEDswAcICmBDA5gGzSEARghKA=

Thats in a trading outfit too, clearing the un-neccessary optional modules and shield boosters and swapping in a 2A powerplant and 1D distributor and then 6D thrusters I should make just a smidge under 40ly. Add a few lightweight mods and I may just get it to 41ly... Ah well, will consider doing that if there's a challenger :D

Very nice indeed. I am still grinding rank for the cutter. Been on since day 1 gpp on xbox, but only recently started the imperial ranks. +rep CMDR o7

Guys I have managed 61.5Ly jump range with my conda. 5D G5 PD, G5 FSD (2707 OM), and G5 Sensors (from 60t Mass to 13t)

So should I try more on FSD? I really getting bored grinding that materials. Should I say that is enough or do I roll a few 30 more? What is your opinion people?

What would Limp Bizkit do? ;)

To push the high end takes a lot of rolls on many modules, but not needed to go out into the great unknown to explore.

I would consider a little more from the fsd, mid to high 2700s at least for me, but not required really

That range can take you almost anywhere on the galaxy. My suggestion is to go and have fun, especially if you don't find it fun to grind for a couple of Ly more range.
