Newcomer / Intro Ship Turning Help

Hi.

I've played before on PC, but my rig died so I picked it up on PS4. Obviously on PC you have the full range of movement, but on PS4 I noticed something odd. As I've been upgrading my ships, they've all had the Yaw controls set to rotate, so if I move left then I turn left. However I've just upgraded to a Type-6 Transporter and I noticed it doesn't turn left or right, it strafes. Anybody know if this is intended? It's making manual landing a pain.

can you remap the controller settings?
otherwise you should get a hotas for the ps4, the thrusmasters are nice and cheap

That is exactly what I had done. I noticed everything had gone back to normal when I next logged into the game. Accidentally hit L3 and was like "Ohhhh".
