Id like to find a planet with some really high density fog and wondered what peoples experience was with it/any patterns etc.
It should be related to major planet composition along with temperature and a bit of geography, though the amount of outgassing should mostly be about the thermal conditions and surface type. (If my knowledge of vacuum systems is anything to go buy)
So it depends upon (very roughly) the phase diagrams, for N2 there is a very sharp drop off at 63k and solid N2 will sublimate under elevated temperature. So we might expect that an Ice world with lots of N2 at about 50-70k should exhibit some good outgassing.
Oxygen (though i cant find a relevant phase diagram online) should behave quite similarly.
So, anyone looked into this at all? any pattern to the high mist ice worlds?
