The Formidine Rift

I start planning single expedition to formidine rift and think which shop choice. 2 option DBX or AspX. I got couple questions
1.Which ship is more efficient on long exploretion journey i know I can put o aspX 6A fuel scoop DBX only 4A max
2. Better to take hangar with 2 SRV or 1 been enough?

3. Cargo Space ? Is I really need ?
I am appreciate for every advice .

In my opinion, you should take a fully-engineered jump range AspX with only one SRV and probably no cargo holds; you won't really need it, and it'll just reduce your jump range, and out there every extra light year helps. In short, distance matters most, at least in my opinion.

I know one DBX is better for hot efficient when u tank fuel from star but I don't really know if that much important o long expedition?
Is i need AFMU as well for that expedition?

I got back from an approx 50k ly trip around the core in my AspX and had no problems overheating when scooping using the 6A FS.
Had no SRV though sometimes it could have allowed me to explore some nice planet surfaces... Took along 2 AFMU's tough as insurance and never needed them... everything went very well and still had my 100% on all modules when arriving back in the bubble... nevertheless I think an AFMU is good for insurance... when you're far out and something fishy happens it's good to have one on board.
So in the future I'd go for at least an AFMU and an SRV, wether that be in my AspX, Dolphin or ExploConda

Did you full engineering your AspX before u go for your 50k LY ?

It's not fully engineered yet, I do have the frame shift drive increased range grade 5, low emmisions powerplant only grade 1, clean drive thrusters grade 3, long range grade 5 detailed surface scanner, grade 3 engine focussed PD, low weight sensors and that's about it.
Had a great time exploring in her and further upgrades won't come soon... she's good enough as she is to me.
Only had a 3D non modified shield generator for weight purposes and it Proved to be enough.
More of an insurance for planetary landings than anything else...
Not at the PC for the moment, but I recall my max jumprange was around 52ly with nearly regularly jumping around 47-49 ly nearly all the way

Just one more thing on this time is 35 to 45 ly is enough to go for long like that expedition ?

You don't need an AFMU if you're just star-hopping, but it'll give you massive peace of mind if you snag a star while fuelscooping and lose a few percent on your important modules. An SRV also isn't necessary, but it'll let you collect jumponium and provides a nice break from flying if you find an interesting landable planet. The number of SRVs doesn't matter much, you can repair them with micromaterials so they're tougher than they look, but there's always the chance of killing one by accident. My science 'conda has 4 on board, though I've only ever killed 2 on a single trip. Cargo space is unnecessary: anything you carry will reduce your jump range, and probably isn't worth much compared to your scan data anyway. Better off using the slot for a Detailed Surface Scanner.

Thank you for that never get so long expedition yet and i want been prepared for everything what can happend

Yeah, I kinda gave up exploring the Rift once I learned that the mystery had pretty much been solved when they found the wrecked capital ship. At least the aspects that are actually in the Rift itself. But hey, that's just me. lol.
