Your wishlist for Jurassic World Evolution

Hey guys,

Just thought to make a post with a list of item(s) you guys hope there will be in this game.

Most of my idea's come from the original book since i just loved it ( film was good to :p ).

- A massive playing field ( i for one would not mind a true island size game map ) so you can truly make a park. I hate putting big animals like dinosaurs in tiny cages. Of course navigation could be a issue but a good minimap would help alot in this department. Think in the way of the many maps found on the internet from jurrasic park with icons for the different stuff.
- More options to make a area safe. Not just only fences and walls but also moats to put behind the fence etc. People who also know the book by heart will know what i mean.
- Good terraforming options, so you can truly make a breathtaking park. Not just plant/tree diversity but also options to make cliffs,rivers etc.
- Multiple attractions/rides, both on land and water wich you can incorporate into the different enclosures.
- Service roads so you actually need to plan how the caretakers get to the animals for feeding etc.
- Good and diverse amount of dinosaurs to pick from.
- Like some people said in other threads give us the option to change the feel of the park ( colour pallets etc ) so for the people who want it less "modern" there will be that option.

For now these are the things i can think off right now, looking forward to see what others would like to see in this game.

P.s. sorry for my not so perfect english, it is not my main language.

I think it would be nice to have mini missions within scenarios. Whether that is guest related or dino related.

A good variation of Dinosaurs and maybe other Jurassic creatures?

14 years and waiting

-More species after launch
-Playable Dinosaurs (tamable or just press and play as)
-Complex building system
-Missions
-A site B mode of some sort
-Various animations: attack, eating, idle etc
-Cliffs
-Volcanoes

Security and Panic Visitors!

I saw the trailer and when the Trex came out a building was place below for a helicopter to come out. I like to request that this does not make it into the game as its unrealistic and breaks the realistic immersion. You got to use what you have and no helicopter should be able to stop a trex cause where is the challenge in that? The Park should be big so you won't really know what is happening until you see it in HQ! If one trex got out so should other follow cause the Trex has learnt and others will do it in other areas! :) So what other defences do you have apart from helicopters and fences to stop these beast from breaking into the park where all the resident are staying!

Some Adrenaline for sure! Your visitors are sleeping and not knowing you got to break out! You got to manage it fast with the pause! Are they vistors out there? Have you got your evac plan working!? Does your NPC staff know what to do??? We want to see Panic happen if vistors start spreading what is going on? Have you got it contained???? Love to see this!

- Large Areas/Islands to build upon, not so restrictive in size remembering some of these Dinos like to graze on fields KMs in diameter. Would make the Car Tours much better to have a longer range instead of being confined to small "maps" like PC for example (even though they are big they're not big enough for JWE).

- Dino Control, the ability to take over as a Dinosaur and go wreak havoc on the Park yourself :D

- Full 24 Hour Cycle so we get to see the Park during all hours not just when it's Light.

I woud love to see VR support for this title.

Best

I wouldnt. If its in isometric view, as it probably is, i dont see how that would be good in VR. Doesnt serve the game in any way.

Disagree & Agree, having even basic VR support would be great for actually being in the Rides/Tours as they go through the park, its been a long since wished for feature for PC as well but unfortunately never came. However I can't see it helping the game in anyway so can't see it happening, like for PC it would just be a visual thing and nothing more so maybe not worth the Devs time (although they have VR experience in Elite of course.)

I wish it to be successful and profitable.

To me, it just looks like Dinosaur Island Tycoon, and while I have tried my hand at a few of the Rollercoaster titles, my interest only stays with these for about 30 minutes. Build the park, watch the people flock to the pool. Maybe a few will ride something, but they mostly flock to the pool. Add a water slide or three, up the ticket price, build another bathroom, wait 30 minutes - millionaire. Move on to something else.

But hey, some folks love it - my wife does. I just need something more... involving.

Now tell me I can not only build the park, but get stranded in it and have to survive and escape, and you might just get my money too.

I'd love unexpected events, like diseases and storms.
For example diseases, animals are more prone to getting sick when living in close quarters but herd animals do not want to live alone. The task is to find a balance between those two.
Storms can also provide a challenge for the gamer to balance things out, cheap fences are less storm resistant but the expensive variety limits the size of the pen.

What I would also really like is campaigns, not just sandbox.

Sounds like you would have liked JPOG. At least facets of all those features were included in that game.

Yes, I played JPOG back in the day (lost the game sadly) and these were the main things that I could remember and really liked about it. If JPOG hadn't had these features, I believe it would have been seen as a rip-off of other park based games. There have to be some unique features to spice things up. I really, really hope that Frontier is able to make a great game of JWE

I would personally love to help developing this game.
I was a JPOG player long time ago. Played it since I was a kid. Now with JWE, I finally got really hyped and I have good suggestions, such as:
-Site B;
-Complex weather and Day/Night cycle;
-Aviary/Aquarium;
-More buildings and complex building system;
-Circle-Shaped fences;
-Thick trees in layers. Depending on the size of the dino, it shall pass or not throught the trees;
-More dinos in updates/fanmade;
-Physics;
-Same limitations to PC/PS4/XBOX, such as no dino limit, no trash bin/seat limit, etc;
-Play as dino in Site B, play as visitor in carreer;
-Fish in the water, so carnivores can eat them;
-Same smooth voice acting for messages, such as "Message from Dr. Grant";
-Improvement's shipment for a price;
-Original dinos with same skin plus new ones, please please please.
That's my list. :3

Trust me, Fdev isnt going to do the same mistake again as they did with Elite at the beginning.
Big franchise like this, definitely going to be in Steam.

There a difference between selling it on the store and integrating it into steam. Steam won't be required to play the game unlike Planet coaster which is only available through steam and is reliant on steam to function properly.

Male and female dinosaurs capable of laying eggs together so that a fence-less preserve like in the second and third films can thrive.

Dinosaur environment requirements loose enough that you can keep different types together.
