This is a message to all DRX commanders from the Founders of the Shadow of the Phoenix.
I must put this here, mostly to clear the air but partially to form a public record of the events of the last couple of days. I need to dispell some myths which have grown:
There was no coup. I left the group for a variety of reasons, including personal disagreements with other CT members. Several commanders had already gone, and the time was right for me to leave too. A couple also followed me within a few hours.
It was during a discussion with one of those members, where we were lamenting what DRX was when it was young, when I decided to form a new group. I intiated the group formation within 12 hours of my DRX exit, and asked some former DRX members to join in with forming a new community. At no point did I or my fellow founders 'poach', steal or force DRX members to join us. Everyone with us is free to leave at any time.
We harbour no ill-will to DRX, and as you would expect we hope it grows and prospers. We gave thousands of hours over a couple of years to its development and we thank you, the DRX members for allowing us to be part of your lives for so long. We wish you well in your future projects.
