How often do you change your flight suit?

I like a bit of immersion and role play (not a whole lot, but a bit at bare minimum) and imagine, when I log off, my cmdr either sleeps or does mundane stuff around the ship. After a few days or a week in the same clothes, I imagine the suit gets a bit...unsanitary. I try to change it once a week at least but once went a month or so without changing it up...gross. [woah]

I use black with the tinted helmet for stealth shenanigans, and the ascendant white for basking.

If the ship's paint wears over time, the flight suits should get grubby too. Especially after any canopy breach!

Some parties might wear the suit until it starts to smell... maybe two weeks. Then turn it inside out and get another two weeks.

I prefer the McDonalds Pickle Test: Remove the garment and throw it at a window. If it falls to the floor, put it back on. If it sticks... its time to rinse it at least.

I role-play a change of look each time I switch my focus between different careers (explorer, trader, bounty hunter, smuggler, etc).

Same face, different suit and maybe different haircut. With 2.4's multiple Holo-me save slots this will get much easier.

Rarely change my flight suit personally. It would be cool if they got grubby and scuffed over time, like ship paints do.

Heh. Good thread. Have wondered about hygiene, human functions, etc.

I have mine lined with Altairian skin. Initial cost was a bit high, but well worth it. Needs changing every month or so. Comfy too!

Your suit already deals with that, via the same mechanism that handles & stores materials. That's why you don't lose materials when your ship blows up.
