Ramming in Lave? not sure what incident you are referring too there.. Think you might be confusing us with a certain naughty Orca pilot from days gone by.

We're still around, don't worry :) .

Nope some code guys used to be prolific rammers around Lave. The ones I know of are no longer in your Inara roster though. Did you boot them to SDC ?.

As if the PvE community is above using every exploit under the sun. The only one they didn't use is the one they didn't know about, hardly moral high ground. The reality is that there is plenty of blame to go around when it comes to exploits.

Except the PvE community didn't go all over the place waving their phallus around ranting about how amazing and awesome they were and how others should git gud. As far as I care you can use as much doping as you want, as long as you dont enter any competition. When one does a crapton of doping, entesr a competition, cheat his way to 'success' by running against people who weren't even interested in running against him or enter any competition in the first place, yell how amazing he is, only to claim 'people in the audience may have used doping too!" as defense when the sadness of it all is revealed: perspective may be lost a tad bit.

There is not a real structure in pvp i think by design, meaning power-play, defending stations-systems, blockades, chasing cmdrs etc. and the lacking of better criminal payouts and risks we have what we have in pvp

don't get me wrong you can do them but at best are meaningless or waste of your time

Just get good and stop whining. It's obvious that you not too good if you can't escape regular gank, and you need your "PVP ship" to safely haul yourself across the galaxy. You played enough time to make enough CR and rep to buy 30 ships, but you have not learn enough to run from griefers (most of them are not too good themselves). Shame.

I'm plenty good !! I don't let PvPrs effect me at all. I leave them in Open mode. :D

What sleutelbos said ;)

A whole lot of sweeping generalizations and lumping people into this or that 'community' when most complaints are targeting minority elements under broad labels.

All this talk of griffin' makes me wanna head to LHS 3447 and.......JUST KIDDING. My unprovoked attacks are aimed at players with high rank, combat ships and/or known PvP player names. It's just more fun that way.

I am sorry, without written consent and an RP approved by this forum. You are a griefer!

PvPers used the 5-1 exploit for the same reason that anybody uses any exploit; because there is a massive grindwall between the players and the activities they would rather be engaging in. And the only people it affected were other PvPers. I assume that "competition" you mean that generally in the sense that multiplayer is competitive. It certainly didn't affect PvErs, though. The percentage differences only affected high end ships and players dueling with each other. The distinction between a darn good PvP ship and a god rolled PvP ship is lost on the PvEer when the two breeds come into contact. And your comment about "waving a phallus and ranting about getting gud" is an oversimplification of the contention between the true groups.

The thing is, the 10 year old girl was attacking bases, defending her base and enjoying PvP. The git gud comment in ED is usually aimed at people who have absolutely no interest in fighting against someone. Kind of embarrassing that I need to point that out.

What's embarrassing is how fast the mod(s) shunted that thread into the void where they hoped nobody would read it.

I just wish there was some surefire way for people who didnt want to PVP, to 100% avoid PVP while being able enjoy all the "content" the game has to offer with their friends.

Kind of embarrassing that some people aren't that smart to figure it out for themselves.

Yes one of the Mods tactics.

First is to give you a warning without infraction points, so they can just mod the post to protect the delicate readers.

Next is to move really good posts that might trigger the more delicate readers to the black holes on the forums.

What we really need right now, are some Asps in front of things!

Posting on this forum is like practice for someday invading Mobius.
