General / Off-Topic Fancy Elite paddles on a standard controller?

Seen this. My Elite pad is strictly for PC. I might, however, buy one of these for console at the end of the month.

This model has two paddles right? All I need to give myself full control of my ship in Elite.

Yep 2 only and it has to be used wired

I have the elite controller but fancy the Scuf Elite, it is a bit pricey but is meant to be the best.
Certainley looks good and has loads of custom options, it's a fave with the Esports community too.

Not a problem for me, as I play on Xbox at the same desk as my PC, in the same chair, on the same display, at the same distance.

Not to mention my pad is powered directly by the Xbox even now.

No batteries inside.

Well, just days after my previous comments, the Elite is now plugged into my Xbox. PC HOT AS is back in action.

As I have the rubber coming off of my Elite grips, I have just ordered the Scuf upgrade grip set which look rather nice.

Yeah I might do the same. Mine aren't coming off, but I'm finding aftermarket attachments to be quite nice. I've got some big ergonomic thumb rests on my sticks. Better grip and will extend lifetime.

I have to wonder, could you put the strike pack in OP on an Elite, and get six paddles?

Scuf grips are fitted and you get a nice set of 6 thumbsticks too.
The grips are FAR superior to the original, both in build quality and grip.
The thumbsticks are covered in the same material, also very good quality and grip.
Very impressed
