Offer: 100 meta-alloys for the thargoid base map event

Greetings CMDRs,

after 9 days of barnacle camping seeing no sign of thargoids, I think it´s time to at least see the thargoid base from inside including the map activation before 2.4 hits. I´m willing to pay 100 meta-alloys to anyone who will be willing to take me there and will activate the machine using their UA and UP for me.

Payment will be delivered after the event. Everything must happen in open play, I refuse to use any other play mode (in general).

Just because I refuse to hide in closed game modes doesn´t mean I´m trying to do something fishy.

I risk more than you do (100 meta-alloys in cargo bay). You can literally fly in sidewinder.

The question I'm wondering is: Does anyone actually care about your meta-alloys and if so, why?

Maybe the rest of us can help sort them out. :)

Well it´s slightly over 10 million credits when sold at Maia or around. I know it´s not much considering current ways of exploited money making but if you would already have both UA and UP or you knew how to get them easily... Either way it´s better to offer a reward then come empty handed with sad eyes look.

The Thing is, there is no way to get UP easily. It's either hours and hours of orbiting an Ammonia World or pure, incredible luck. I have neither, so cannot bother with a game mechanic that is not even remotely fun. Because that's what I Play games for. I'd suggest you get that UA, as it is easy to get, and ask for a UP from someone who is done with that "Exploration". You'd probably get it for free, as far as I have been told. Because in the time one has scooped up 100 cargo pods, it's easy to earn 20 millions and more otherwise.

Ummm, I would have thought anybody who wished to take you up on your offer would literally have to show up in a ship with at least 100t of cargo capacity.

1) If that´s your only issue with my offer, go into Adles Armada Discord and ask about me there. You will find out I´m not a combat pilot, actually I don´t do PvP and I do PvE combat only if I must. I bet AA can safely vouch for their ally not being a ganker.

2) You can come in sidewinder, show me the base and then later on and on your turf you can switch to any ship you like and get the reward.

I simply won´t break my own gameplay rules (I do not play in any other mode but open under any circumstances).

I haven't seen the activated Thargoid base map either, and would like to. So, given that, I'll head out later and see if I can pick up a UP and UA (those are all I need?). If I find them, I'll let you know and see if I can work out how to activate the map. Open doesn't bother me in the slightest... Nor does the reward, to be honest - I'd just like to see the map. :)

If you decide to make this an open event, I would also be interested to see the base, and could throw 3 Modular Terminals into the pot.

Don't wait up on me, though, if you don't get an answer - I'll be afk for a while now.

I can at some point this week. Contact me in game for this - Cmdr Mathias Shallowgrave. I role play Elite and this would make for a good story for my character :)
