Lava spouts: did anyone ever find them off?

Hi all!
Yesterday evening i've done a passenger mission and in the location with lava spouts...... they were off! I sow the "rocks" from which they go out but..... no activity !!!!
Time ago I sow also lava spouts...... not correct! Thy seemed geysers! I have an AMD card... and a bit of suspicion! :|

You know it's funny you should say that, some time ago I was thinking about asking people if there was an 'ON' switch hidden under an outcrop or something. I've visited two lava sites and neither was 'working', I've yet to see one spouting.

Would be like IRL. Volcanic activity isn't constant. Volcanos have their resting periods as well. Depending on the type of Magma it can be for days or for centuries.

Tell me!!! What is your card??? AMD or Nvidia??? I ask you because I opened a ticket for info.... but obviously they didn't tell me about! It wouldn't be correct probably. And.... I've seen lava spouts only one time too!!!! This evening I tell you the System

Nvidia 1080GTX, I have never had any graphics issues of any kind though, I think I've just been unlucky, after all, we're only talking about two times I went looking for exotic metals and the fumaroles were dormant. ;)

I visited a lava spout and it was the same as the ice geyser, no difference, so not sure if they have made a mistake or is working as intended. I'm using an Nvidia GTX 1060 so not sure if it's a graphic glitch or a mistake.

lollo bro, you seem to be on a crusade to prove this is a bug, when your own evidence makes that impossible, you said you have seen active ones. I haven't. Therefore currently in the game there are active and inactive areas of volcanism, I'd say working as intended. I certainly don't believe it's a bug that I haven't seen an active one, I've just been in the right place at the wrong time. :)

Well, bug or not bug is not important for me!!!!!! The important thing is: AMD or Nvidia..... is the same!!!!!! :) You have taken away a doubt!!!

AFAIK there's very active sites and very passive sites.

And when it states "Geyser", don't always expect to see what you'd expect i.e. a Water Geyser.

Time also plays a role it seems. Individual spouts can change within ~1 Minute cycles and become active or inactive.
Unsure if "time of day" / orbital position on a Planet plays a role, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Nvidia 1080. Visited 6 lava sites to my knowledge, never come across an inactive site. OP take a chill pill, those !s are more than a bit over the top and I can't take you seriously at all even if its important to you :p

Only visited one or two lava fields, but they were definitely active when I did. Wasn't very impressed with the materials on offer, though, so never bothered going back.
