Offer: 100 meta-alloys for the thargoid base map event

Had only you posted this on Saturday - I took two tour groups through one.
At the moment I'm fresh out of Probes and on the opposite side of the galaxy.
UA's are easy to come by, and UP's just take a bit of persistence, but they do spawn.
I'll be on vacation starting Tuesday, which means I'll be out of contact for the week.
When I get back, 2.4 will be launching, and I can't say how long I'll be anywhere near the bubble - I've been putting off making a few 10L+ light year trips since I started, and with a total of roughly 282,000 Ly of travel I've wanted to do for a while... I may be out of range for most things for quite some time.

I've got the required goods and am currently at Palin. I'll be leaving Palin in just over an hour (waiting for some modules to transfer; may as well engineer some thrusters while I'm here) and will then head over to a Thargoid base.
Should have been at Obsidian orbital 10 days ago... I gave away a UP to someone who needed it

I jettisoned my UA & UP after exploring the Thargoid base, they aren't so hard to come by if you've been through the ropes.
The offer still stands though. Those two kind commanders I was there with did it without wanting the reward (many thanks again!!!), so I still have all the alloys.
I know you can see thargoid ship there too which I did not. So I still have those 100 meta-alloys and I would like to see the map again and possibly spawn the thargoid ship and see that one too (without anyone attacking it please... I want to see the event, not thargoid ramming using a glitch....).
I can be online every working day from 19 to 21 PM CET and at weekends anytime during waking hours (apart from food breaks). I´m still in my SRV in the base (I have UA in cargo) at Mel 22 something (in job now, cannot check exact system, but like 120 ly from Maia +-.

lol, well, I'm parked up at the base on HIP 14909 2A, and haven't gone to see the map yet. Will be doing so later on today. Feel free to add me and join me if you're online at the same time. Have UP and UA with me. Can get more UPs quite easily, it seems, as there is a source within a couple of jumps. Still not bothered about any meta-alloys, though.

If you're planning on doing the "summon a Thargoid ship" thing, I'd like to tag along.
I've played around inside the bases before but I'd like to just hang around outside and see what happens when the ship shows up.
Can you actually summon them? I've never seen a Thargoid ship either, so that is something else I'd like to see. Nothing showed up yesterday while I was there.
Feel free to add me in game. By default I'll probably go into Mobius, but am more than happy to play in Open too. Will probably be playing in an hour or two.
Christ, just collecting those 100t will be a complete pain in the buttocks TBH!
Not really. They can be found around these facilities growing there. Perhaps a bit cumbersome to gather, but really not that bad.
No (I wasn't very clear), I mean actually handing 100t over from one CMDR to another... Means limpet collectors, and doing things in batches etc.... Hardly very slick and easy given super duper space ships 1000 years in the future...

I heard there is a roughly 30% chance for thargoid ship to appear when you activate the map and later on leave the base with UA in SRV hold. That´s what I heard... When we did it last time, thargoid ship appeared after a while, but I was inside of the thargoid base and saw nothing (plus people attacked the thargoid ship very fast using a glitch so there would probably be not much to see... [knocked out]).
Yep. That's why I'm not interested in any pay-out.
Mind you, it shouldn't be that painful, should it? One ship loads up with 100 collector limpets, and the other just dumps cargo (assuming large enough ships). Would that take more than a few minutes?
I can't be the only one who thought about kicking him from the crew just before/during the map event, lol.
