Spaceships getting away with murder way way outside of inhabited space? What potential "state of the game" do you imagine would prevent something like that?
When he said the state of the game, he meant the state directly caused by the players, not the state of C&P (or lack thereof). I assume.

I salute the effort that went into that gank, but I disapprove of the choice of innocent target. Something like this much effort to gank an SDC defector would have been beautiful.
As such, just ruining some guy's day, unprovoked for the LOLs seems unnecessarily cruel and a wasted opportunity to make the gank even better. Anyone can jump a ship and shoot an unarmed victim who's not expecting a fight. I think I'm saltier about the anticlimactic choice of target than the feelings of one random CMDR, but it is what it is

There's some history between SDC and the Fuel Corgis, so he was not innocent, in that regard.
When it was explained to me the difference between a fuel rat and a corgi, the premise for the gank became crystal clear. Trust me guys, the corgi had it coming
