Everyone's allowed to lose it once in a while, cut a guy some slack. By the way, my wife loved that game.
For the record: my accusation was a parody. Stick to what you know, or in my case what you are.
Posting a PvP video is not the issue here. Creating a provocative thread with the explicit intent to create responses has a name though, and it's called trolling. Which is something which I'd rather not see condoned in a forum.

Maybe because the video is clear proof of greifing? Maybe because it's been freely admitted that this was to make people angry and cause arguements? Maybe because despite this, no action has been taken to keep this off the forums? What's the purpose of forum moderation again?
PvP or PvE is irrelevant to this. If people are TRYING to start arguments on the forums, they should be moderated. Or do you disagree?

I've played both the good guy and bad guy.
But every time there is any mention of "griefing" "pvp" or player interaction in general. Its the same dudes whining and complaining.

What are ya'll waiting for! Go get your revenge. There are plenty of options in the game to do so. The same options everyone else has. But no one uses those in game options. They just complain on the forums about it.

I don't necessarily agree with the assumption, but I think what they're referring to is that this is (purportedly) an intentional bait thread, as such, there would be a difference.
Anyway, I actually think there is some valuable conversation here. Not much, but some.

The solution is much easier. The Fuel Rats have implemented this policy long time ago. When you got griefed, the response is: we got fuel, you haven't. Any questions? They refused to fly with escorts because then the pillocks dictate how they play. Shrug and move on.

Because they WANT PVP. There's nothing wrong with that - it's not like PVP is some terrible thing. But you don't reinforce bad behavior by giving them what they want. If they want PVP, there are far more civil ways to go about it. You don't have to act like a jerk and hope it makes someone mad enough to come after you.

However, I like combat, and I've built a ship, now I need to get a bit better at flying it. When I'm ready, I certainly will be going to see what the fuss is about and probably get my butt handed to me, but I completely agree, it's pretty impotent just sitting here whining about it when the tools are in our hands to at least say to the rats and corgis, I will avenge you or die trying. Many times. lol.

Thats the spirit brother. I have tons of rebuys myself. And its how I started getting into PVP. I seen there wasn't many people out there to stop the bad guys. So thats how I got started.
Just remember its okay to lose. Its okay to get blown up. And those same guys are pretty neat to talk to in and out of the game as long as you have the right attitude. Good luck out there dude.
Combat is part of this game. The video shows combat in action, one party lost because came unprepared for a fight. It happens, next time they will come more prepared.
