So when suctioning over a barnacle, it seems to be pulling stuff into the same compartment as the Thargons go in/out of in the back. Could barnacles be Thargon spawning grounds?

Could be for sure.

Or it's the raw material to *make* Thargons/Tharglets or whatever. They're basically SLFs after all.

Got a video uploading - I was touching canopies!

Not sure if this has been posted yet but I believe 'Thargoid sensors' are the same things as 'unknown artifacts'? I went to a crash site and only sensors were there, with the same shape and appearance as UAs.

The distress call in HR 1185 I had two encounters while I was there. First one as I dropped in and it just scanned stuff and waked out. The second jumped in a few seconds later, it did the pulse thing and then carried on scanning stuff. It was there for a good 10-15 minutes

You send that to the Thargoid and now You are dead? :p

Nah, I didn't die. Not sure trying to talk to them makes much of a difference though. As long as you keep some distance after getting scanned, they shouldn't bother you. In any other case, make sure you have some armor cause shields don't get in their way and hull points will drop quickly.

Take a look at Galnet in-game.

The UA-bombed station report has received a face-lift, it's now under an "Aegis requesting help" branding.

I lost my UP earlier after some... technical difficulties. Anyone know if these name changes have affected the USS names?
