Just found after my second hyperdiction today that there are 3 new interesting discoveries I made.

1. you can be interdicted by multiple thargoids at once.

2. they come in different varients (this one had much different "wings" and was much larger.

3. it plays games with you, legit it was playing with me by following my every movement!!!!


how do I upload a vid!!!??? I have proof!

4 more days until I can actually play. I'm at my "2nd home", and my rig here is currently mid re-build as I change CPU to a 6700K, plug in my 1080Ti, and install windows on the new SSD. I also have a new stick and pedals, but there is too much setting up to do, and there's no hope I'll have it all running before my flight back.

I've encountered two variants myself. One was pale, almost white, and didn't emp pulse throughout a 30 minute long engagement. The other was dark, almost black, and pulsed like a madman. The pale one was encountered during a signal source, the dark one interdicted my wingmate.

none of the thargoids I have encountered have EMP pulsed me in engagement?? only in hyperdictions.

Of course. We wanted to film as much as possible, so we got a lot of clips. Granted, thanks to the panic it's a hot mess of short clips, but we got them regardless. Blame Xbox DVR.

Forgive me for if the links are odd, not exactly used to this forum. Here's one of the darker one that hyperdicted my wingmate. It pulses twice during this video alone, I think. It wasn't exactly shy about using it.

We were the same, the dark one pulsed like crazy and pulled me out of witch space. The lighter one was encountered during a signal source and never pulsed. Tue behaviour of the second ship changed the longer we fought it. It seemed to get angrier, don't know if this was because we were closing damage or if it just got fed up being harassed by pesky humans. Near the end of the engagement it had 3 sets of thargons deployed. This is when the fight got too much, we lost a Cutter and 2 Corvettes had to withdraw.

I haven't been hyperdicted since patch, that was one angry Thargoid. Not had the pleasure of being pulsed in combat

3 swarms of Thargons huh? Definitely a good idea to bring my Anaconda in next instead of the asp yeah?

This is just the stuff we already knew about from the unknown sites isn't it? That's the spectrogram produced by the messages you get from those.

It shows Merope system on the left, with the Thargoid Sensor (Unknown Artefact) pointing at it; and another system on the right (can't remember which one though) which is being pointed to by the (formerly) Unknown Probe; with the (formerly) Unknown Link pointing at the system that contains another unknown site.
