It seems that way for the most part.

Bug to report in the Livery. When previewing the suits (at least on the female model), the texture being loaded is only the low res one and not the actual high res one. I am also seeing the low and high res swap when sitting in the livery screen. So may be related. Associated with my cmdr account with this name. Message me if more info is needed.
You sure this isnt jyst the effect of servers adjusting to 2.4? Many things load slower, and one effect is textures stay in low res much longer.

Copy all the ".binds" files in "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings" somewhere else.

The only thing I don't like is the offsetting to a safe arrival position when you jump into a system with a binary star. It feels weird, it jars and it's completely unncessary. Come on, leave the explorers some tiny shred of jeopardy for Chrissake!

This sucks... I uninstalled my antivirus and reinstalled the game and still nothing. I submitted a ticket 12 hours ago. Since the patch my game client just will not log in anymore. Anyone else have this problem? Its not a network or routing issue, its not my ISP. My stepdad is still able to play just fine on his PC but mine fails to connect to the authentication server.
14GB for Xbox One!!
Lots and lots of small changes there.. but nothing seemingly to the core gameplay. Not sure if I can be bothered to re-install the game for this.
Yep... CORE GAMEPLAY focus.... not this time around.
Mining and exploring (asically the same but you can automate the rout farther yay).
Multicrew? Bug fixes
Thargoids? Invincibility that can be very mildly interacted with via weird new limpet.
Combat? Plasmas are now tiny so it will be harder to dodge and rails have a little lighting effect as they charge up.
Instancing? Yet to be seen...
NPC crew? Still overpayed fodder left to rot.
NPCs? Fodder for skilless players to think they can fight.
Law and Order? Fingers crossed the beginning of something positive but does not address actual griefing and exploits even slightly while opening itself up to some big ones.
I'm a little disappointed so far. Hopefully time will prove me wrong.

I had the same issue Beef mate. I eventually managed to download the buggy patch and play for an hour or so. Now after logging into the Launcher I am asked to PURCHASE the game again. Not a chance FDEV, you got a lot of money off me at Kickstarter. Fix your rotten game code that stops people playing. Prior to the Purchase horror I could not get the launcher from pressing START waiting for the game only to see the START button light up again. And again and again! The game is once again released with broken code.
I can log into my account from my stepdads PC and the game connects just fine, but from my PC I get "The game has failed to communicate with the authentication server." Ive uninstalled my antivirus, disabled firewall, reinstalled the game client and still nothing. Scratching my head here lol any suggestions would be more than welcome.
