Thargoid attack on Imperial Capital ship

Hi guys, just found that few mins ago, Imperial capital ship with escort found destroyed by Thargoids.

This can be found at 'Distress Call' in system HR 1185, Planet A1.

There may be a thargoid ship waiting for you but you just need to jump out and in to get rid of it Really awesome looking site.

Damn. Shame we cannot salvage ships and repair them with the new drones.... I like the idea of running about in an imperial cap ship lol.

I tried to scan the two Data Beacons but couldn't get close enough in my Rattaconda. Anyone having more luck?

Oh and do it fast. The Thargoids nearby are really angry.

There weren't any thargoids when I went there. The data beacons just gave Thargoid ship signature.

Maybe in a few years in another season Frontier may allow it with some form of empire or company building. I mean there is more than enough room in the galaxy. This just may be wishful thinking but one hope.[big grin]

Also wouldn't the Empire strongly object to you taking one of your capital ships basically putting a massive target on your back?

Ship salvage is present in other space sim's so, yeah. We can but hope... and frankly, if we could grab an interdictor/majestic class, then even if salvage rights were ignored... let them come take it from me... mwuha ha ha

Got one scan off and typical was full so didn't get the data. Same location. Never seen such a large amount of ships destroyed before, I was in awe initially and worried I might be next when it came and scanned me.

it's worth dropping out there and checking the Distress Call out!
