Definitely not a big lumbering death trap unless a full wing is supporting it. So yeah, something like a Dropship.

Don't know tbh, just killed 2 of the 4 hearts on one solo in a vette that's not even particularly shield or hull heavy, does have good engines though! Issue for me was running out of ammo for the new weapons. Probably a 2 man sport 3 is ideal I think.

I wasnt expecting a Thargoid to be destroyed a few minutes hours after new weapons were released. The live streams talked about formidable opponents and be afraid etc, it just feels too soon and to me at least to easy a kill.

Try it on your own?

I think the healing is tied to the hearts. If the hearts are taken out...well...

It's no secret that I hate SDC, and I think their choices in game are a little... Well that's not the discussion.

HOWEVER... SDC consistently comes out on top in PvP events. (Organised events I mean)

The fact is there is no disputing that these guys are GOOD. And before people cry engineers. They were on tip before then.

It's just a shame that there isn't proper PvP support in the game for these guys.

Whats more, SDC are saying this is really good and fun PvE content. FD have successfully converted them in PvE carebears. This truly is a jesus patch

Got it down to 80% second time around (wanted a scan i couldnt get in the first) No caustic protection and 2 launchers

Excellent. I'm glad it takes a wing of experienced pilots to take these things down. The game has suffered with a lack of difficult content for too long.

I won't be trying to kill aliens. It simply isn't my place in the universe.

I'm better with cargo canisters.
