CoD WWII beta on steam for a few days...

Wow, I had no idea there were "insert bad censored name of WW2 German army" black female soldiers in Normandy, they were so progressive, I think we need to rewrite our history books ya know... For real CoD, there are limits of ridiculous.
Also game is same old run like an idiot and die every 10 sec with messy spawnpoints, wierd hitboxes and tiny maps. Graphics? No were near as good as BF1 or any modern game for this matter. Also, they really need to balance killstreaks.
The only good thing so far are cinematic weapon sounds - it feels epic to use them.
And "open beta"? Please, almost every of those AAA "betas" are just demos and server tests. Not much will change game play wise I`m afraid. Also - any news on SP yet?

Of all the 'this is too silly' complaints one can level at CoD, you pick this. Who cares, really.

The last CoD I played was the Modern Warfare one...think it was 4. Liked bits of it, but preferred the Battlefield series for some semblance of multiplayer team play. I've always been more ARMA than Cod or BF at any rate, so not really my bag.

The latest one looks nice visually in a triple A graphic bonanza way... but still not for me any more than Battlefield One was.

All this talk of historical 'fidelity' and accuracy from both the teams responsible for Battlefield and CoD over the last year or so simply does my nut in, they're fun games...but lets stop doing the meaningful videos of game developers pretending they're being faithful to the history of military conflict in Europe in order to sell run and gun shooters to teenagers.

Both series of games are about as accurate in a historical sense as Star Wars Battlefront is a history of WWII.

So much for a comeback to the series then it sounds. I'll stick with BF1 which is currently releasing the Russia DLC and is excellent.

Well, I wrote "German bad guys" black female soldiers, forum censored the bad word and its confusing now (I did not noticed the censored word gone) - yeah there were black female soldiers but my original post was referring to German side only that is portrayed in specific period of time in Normandy - you can be Afro-american female on German side.
I simply need to learn to separate my historical interest about WW2 and just set my mindset that its some fictional alternate reality. But when they make a name big as half of the cover CoD WW2 well, I am lil bit picky...

I wouldn't touch another COD game with a hundred foot pole, even if I'd get paid for it. It's just an utter joke. Making the exact same game for over a decade, and people keep buying them like hot cakes. My lulzbuckets can't take it anymore.

I got CoD:IW it was playable, but in general I'm done with CoD games.
