Zooming In ....

... While doing a planetary scan mission scooting across the landscape in my SRV I stopped and realized that I could not scope out the base till I was almost on top of it. It would be nice if we had (we don't that I know of) this feature. Even when in ship to examine things closer.

I suspect some will suggest the external camera suit. I haven't got that set up yet so I wouldn't know. Just a thought.

External camera suite.

Nah, I do use it to recon areas. But I'd like a MechWarrior style zoom.

Yeah, take the time to set up the camera suite. It has zoom built in, and you can fly it all around to check things out safely. Definitely a nice feature, and it's not really hard to use once you get it set up.
