Are the Thargoid ships their young?

I'm not sure if anyone has suggested this before but it struck me this morning.

What if the flower ships are the thargoid's children?

Does that not look a birth and a youngster suckling?

Maybe the aggression we are seeing can be likened to the actions of a child curious about it's world who ,not realising it's own strength, might accidentally crush an insect because it hasn't realised that small creatures are fragile. Or maybe their interactions with us could be seen as a child poking an ant's nest with a stick, not through any malice but out of genuine curiosity.

If this is true, I worry about what's going to happen when the parents arrive with a metaphorical kettle of boiling water.

WE MUST SLAY THE XENOS SCUM, PREFERABLY WITH FIRE!

Also, I'm pretty sure those ships aren't supposed to be spawning out of the ground.

LOL, and the thread gets moved to a place where nobody will ever see it again. RIP.

This forum is where you go to talk all things Thargoid, so it'll be seen by people who care :)

The logs from that Thargoid Scout megaship talked about the Thargoids seeding the area for their return. People have theorized before that the large wreckage sites are actually growing motherships. So I don't think this idea is crazy.

It kinda looks like giving birth and all, but that blur and the black tentacle like outline looks a lot like the hyperspace portals Thargoids come and go from at the signal sources in space. It seems they are able to create those on planet... That's disturbing.

EDIT: another thought: Thargoids are associated with Witchspace, even said to live their and stuff. If we witnessed something like a "birth" here, and the Thargoids we encounter now are nothing but freshlings, those barnacles are their breeding grounds. All wild theories of course, just like this one: what if this is all true and the actual breeding happens in kind of a witchspace bubble associated with the barnacle sites. And as soon as the young Thargoid is ready, it emerges from the bubble and is born into normal space.

The real disturbing thing is: WHAT DID THAT GROWN FLOWER DROP ON THE BARNACLE?? A HUMAN CORPOSE?

Would be an explanation why they are so intrested in escape pods, even if damaged.

So i assume:

Barnacles are not refueling spots, or meaby not "just", it looks to me that theyr spaceships or stations are grown/generated there.
We build / construct our ships, they grow them.
They are in war, so they need to increase their army for more chances to win.

Since Thargoids tend to be Ammonia planet related i assume that the Ships are not the Targoids, but their vessels (so some kind of pilot has to be in it)
