Apparently my wife says the box is ENORMOUS!

49" curved 144Hz, Ultra Ultra wide screen monitor...WOW, is it 5:30 yet???

Sorry not bragging but i have a rift, but alternate tween VR and Monitor. This is for Ed and 'Other' games when ED annoys me.

OP, I see this monitor has Freesync 2 (top marks to Samsung for that), out of interest do you have an AMD card to make use of it?

This monitor has great specs and definitely has the wow factor, but the only thing that puts me off is the 1080 vertical resolution.

AMD, pah! would not have that make if it was presented Free to me. BAD experience of AMD a year or so back, so once bittern twice shy.

Nvidia 1080Ti will drive this beast.

that looks awesome. One question though. How far away from the screen do you have to sit? When I got a gaming monitor I just took a 24" because magazines etc told me this a good size when you sit at your desk and the monitor being about 50cm away...

Oh come one.. that's like waiting half an hour after eating before jumping into the pool.. never running with scissors... or crossing your eyes.
Get the biggest monitor you can afford and sit as close as you possibly can. :)

I am still at work, and this beauty is at home waiting to be unpacked. I'll let you know tomorrow....Oh roll on 5.30...!
