If your ship gets destroyed while in an SRV, you can call one of your other ships for resuce

Like the title says, if you get stranded you can call one of your other ships in a similar way like you transfer ships in stations. Obviously the further out you go the longer the wait but it might help those stuck in the bubble. It might make surviving in an SRV a bit of a thing too.

Or you can switch to normal Elite Dangerous without Horizon Pass, then you will be "teleported" outside the planet orbit in your ship. Then you can log in to Horizon again. Works fine.

This would be a logistical problem for me. The Viper has no SRV bay and the one that can carry it -- the DBX -- had it stripped out and placed into my ASPX. Looks good enough on paper and if it gets implemented, I might look into resolving it. But as it stands, I don't see this happening.

No, the idea simply popped up of having a suitable rescue ship stored somewhere just in case that has an SRV bay fitted. I was watching the film Outland, and had visions of a countdown timer to ship arrival
