when will the moon be landable?

so, i think i have made a post abouth it before, i'm not sure.

i wanted to bring it up once again as i'm still looking at my watch and waiting for it to be landable. when will the moon be landable? in q1 of next year? q4 perhaps? frontier, can you at least give us a rough % of how far you are done with the whole process? because at this point i'm starting to think you just abandoned it and you only have 1 dev working on the moon, and all the other devs at 3.0.. plz make the moon landable!!!!

It's probably a huge job. It can't be procedural. It's got to be accurate else people won't be happy. But i thought it would be done by now. I expect to see the Apollo sites under a dome or something, like a big tourist site.

I'm guessing the moon has a very high population perhaps, and is covered in settlements unlike anything we've seen so far?

The Moon

Heavy industry was moved here in the early days and it is based around the only starport. Apollonius city. This is another must for the tourist being the first city to be built on an airless surface. The majority of the settlement is subterranean and the vast halls like chasms are quite breathtaking. Many beat a path to the famous Museum of Humanity which has many rare exhibits from early space exploration, you will wonder how we managed to get where we are today!

It's probably just really hard to justify the work. Months to implement and 1% of the player base will notice if something's wrong. And that 1% will be INSANELY ANGRY if something's wrong.

  • First unmanned sample return: 24 September 1970 by Luna 16 - USSR
  • Last manned moon landing: 11 December 1972 (Apollo 17) - USA
  • Last Moon landing: 1 December 2013 by Chang'e 3 - China
Edit: On 17 July 1967, Surveyor 4 (USA) probably exploded 2.5 minutes before scheduled landing and crashed on the moon.

Gosh my brain really mucked that one up. Had 1967 on my brain this last couple of months (50 year anniversary of joining the RN) - yes of course my smart-Alec attempt at humour post should have been July 1969 - so I'm off to bed to sleep this boo-boo off. - Duh!

They still fight the s on the far side! As soon as they got them, they can release. :D

Edit: Funny, the forum has a filter for germans between 1933-1945. :)

I had read somewhere that the Moon had been a dump and was littered with tons of garbage and junk at some point in history. IDK if we cleaned it up yet or if it still is covered with old diapers and MkI Cobra parts.

the moon landing was fake, so thats why we cant go there , we dont know what it really looks like yet
