They're intentional, but aren't supposed to be appearing as often as they currently do.So, are all these long distance deliveries I'm seeing a way of populating Colonia and surrounding systems? Or some kind of bug that's been introduced?
I guess if you get 20 of them, fill an Orca with passengers and honk your way to Colonia, you will end up with an alright payout, especially when you pick and choose for rare material rewards. Not everybody's cup of tea.
The way I see it, the bug is thinking I would accept a 22KLy mission for 1 million credits xD
Still not worth it if you then have to immediately turn around and fly BACK to the bubble in order to complete the mission. .
The current amount of missions to Colonia seems excessive, to say the least.
I'd go with a Hauler. Much better jump range than the trusty Sidey.Even a sidewinder can do those data runs.

OP - If you're going to Colonia anyway, take some missions to cover expenses.
Errm, I'm obviously missing a couple of things.... What's this Neutron plotting thing, and what's about to kick off?
To clarify I think 777 means "boosting" from neutron stars by going into the gaseous plume, not actually fuel scooping from the star.Scooping from neutron stars, the route plotter now factors them into plotting. Massively decreases travel times, previously you had to open the gal map every time you wanted to neutron boost.
They definitely need to be stacked, average prices I am seeing out here in Merope is 2mill per data mission. 40+mill is fine for data runs, especially if you are planning to go there anyway. I like the fact that it is one way, I found those return pax missions didn't suit my play style, much prefer flying out there and being able to swap ships, spend some time and then return on my own schedule.
Cargo, data and passenger rides are always 1 way. Only tourist cruises are round trips. If you play it right, you are looking at 40mill there, plus 40 mill back, with as long a break as you want in between. Even a sidewinder can do those data runs.
