Any rough guess on when these changes will happen? 3 months? 6 months? A year?
I have a bunch of ships I'd like to engineer but would rather not re-engineer them again, and the exploration itch has returned which might be a good thing to do while the engineer changes are going to happen - it might be time for a sightseeing trip to see things I haven't yet (megaships, planetary agriculture structures, mineral geysers etc) followed by a 1-2 month expedition into the deep black...I already have a fairly sizeable fleet that I will probably end up re-engineering after the changes (more OCD than actual requirement haha)...if the changes are like 9 months away I might just go ahead and do my engineering anyway, but if they are only 2-4 months away that would probably be worth waiting for. 6 months is a grey zone that I would probably wait for, although it's a tough decision - I would really like to engineer a couple corvettes, some FDLs etc.
