Would you pay someone to play the game for you?

If FD were to make available professional Elite: Dangerous players you could hire to rank grind and all that other stuff, would you use that service? Like, if you could hire a guy to earn you 2 billion credits while you're at work, or rank up with the feds so you could get that sweet Corvette, would that be something you'd be interested in? It would be like an Uber.

Careful... people might actually start using multi-crew.

I'm trying to understand the reason for this thread. What are you getting at?

I don't particularly need credits and the only other ships I might want aren't out yet.

Why are all these threads popping up? And who on earth would pay a fee to strangers at anytime can say screw it, change your password and say "all this is mine" and sell them back to you for lots of $$$

Wouldn't it be better if FD would make available somebody to "grind" your work while you play Elite?
now that would help if i worked but i'm retired :( so i will continue on my own :)

yes pythonlady i am retired. whoop no need to work. just live and play in the EDH environment. play and buy what i want. cash is only an issue if you work, for poor pay. one thing i have never done...

Buy a game for a stranger to play and give them my personal information?
I can't pick any holes in that. How much do you charge?

Uhhh, you did see the /s at the end of the post, right? It's a comment on the recent spate of "would you PAY for this" and "would you PAY for that" threads.

I would not pay for someone else to play my game.
But I would pay credits to get other ppl to influence the BGS (only so much one man can do without backup)

Could I get someone to grind rank and all that other stuff on forums, for me, so I don't have to read this sort of question?

If they set it up like American Trucker where one could hire NPCS to run cargo for QOL state management for MF's (once the bgs is far more lucent) I would pay to initiate option

Hi if there's anyone interested in this service I am very experienced I fly fa off all the time and barely ever spin out in my srv, and I have relatively low rates so hmu

No, I'd rather Frontier just make the parts that become dull quickly more interesting.

Too easy to get trolled due to previous threads. RIP me.

Of course. I outsource all my recreational activities to other people. There's somebody out playing tennis in my name right now, another one is at the cinema working through the new releases for me, and I'm thinking of sending one of them on a nice holiday come winter.

It means working a lot of extra hours to pay them. But what else am I supposed to do? Have fun myself?

That threads can surely be fun ... but it certainly have no other purpose than to create frictions among the players that then translate into hundreds of equally funny and malicious threads.
be moderate.

if you're talking about populating space with fleets of NPC operated Zorgon-Peterson Haulers to run various trade routes as you discover them, allowing you a modest passive income and the NPC pockets 10% of the proceeds.. I might pay for the right to a bit of that action. It would be intersting to balance the risk and reward, especially if you subsidize their rebuys. Good choices give you a slow, steady income, bad choices get Zorgon-Peterson a lot of money. Balanced well that could be a lot of fun. It would also give pirates something to attack and populate the universe a little more, possibly a lot more, with each player's private fleet fanning out everywhere looking for places to put the next Hauler. I think that could be very fun.
